Although it encountered the largest wildfire in Maui, Hawaii and was very close to the hotel, the hotel management was still very orderly and professional, and the surrounding environment was also very good.

The medicine was placed in the refrigerator in the room. I forgot to take it when I checked out at 11:00. The hotel said it was lost at 2:30.

A correct hotel in its category, probably overpaid for the level of services (the time of year, end of July, probably explains this impression in large part).
Cleanliness is the weak point: dubious swimming pool, limited dining room, room/studio cleaning system quite incomprehensible.
The staff is efficient and responsive.
A car is essential for any trip.
The island is magnificent and it takes at least 5 days to see everything while taking the time to feel things.

Check in was fast and easy. Bethany at check out was awesome!!! Best customer service! I would like the option of not having towels washed every day to be more eco friendly. Great to just go to breakfast and not have to give room number or check in. Nice to walk right out to the board walk!

Whole family couldn’t go so I took my daughter which is why I didn’t choose the big resorts in Wailea. I chose the Residence Inn in Wailea and I can say I loved it. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and reserved the studio and ended up getting a 1 bedroom which was great as it had a full kitchen. The pool area was really nice and the bar attendants were fantastic. Location was not right on the beach but was within walking distance of the Wailea shops and plenty of eating establishments and Wailea is just a beautiful area. This a a good hotel in a great area if you don’t want to some relief from the cost of the big expensive resorts within the area. Still not cheap but nothing is in Maui. Enjoy

This hotel is just a quick walk to small beaches acquainted with relaxation and sea life - turtles. The hotel is clean and updated offering amazing ocean views. The location is easy for traveling to any beauty point the Maui Island has to offer. The pool is...meh, but the outdoor ambiance is nice. Make sure to check out the island grill by the pool. Definitely a comfy stay for families that have a lot on their itinerary but want to come back and relax, refresh, and reload.

Excellent hotel with decent breakfast included. Only mistake was booking through Costco Travel. Got a room with a view of the parking lot. Upgraded at my own expense to a room with a view. Special thanks to Chris for making our vacation great. Has a nice pool and hot tub. Try talking to the concierge for some advice and booking trips. You can also rent beach paraphernalia at the concierge. Wailea-Makena has some beautiful shopping complexes, nice views of the ocean. Try Monkeypod next door for some good food.
