This is a well-facilitated hotel with very friendly and helpful room services delivered by the polite staff members. The hotel lobby is very clean with rich color of heritage and indigenous cultures. The nearby shopping and dining restaurants provide delicious and tasteful food. I would like to consume the hotel services again when returning to this wonderful town.

Simple hotel but super convenient, close to JR train station and there are many eateries nearby. The hotel even includes a complimentary buffet breakfast, nothing fancy but just a nice touch to start your day. Room is proper and clean. Note that the train station nearby is JR Wakayama station and not Wakayama-shi (Wakayama city) station on the private train line. I made a mistake myself and had to get here by another train ride. This is a very pleasant town. If you have time, take the JR line to Kishi station (貴志駅) to see its famous cat manager Tama.

Close to JR Wakayama station, whilst not on the most exciting side, there's still plenty of food options for dinner. The hotel is what you would expect from the Toyoko Inn chain if you've ever stayed with them before: efficient check in, good service, small but clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is the usual basic Japanese fare with toast as a Western option, with limited seating. They strangely seemed to be lacking knives, so other hotel guests as well as myself were using forks, spoons and chopsticks to try and spread the jam on the toast! A well priced hotel which gives me the basics I need for a good night's rest.

It's a little far from JR Wakayama station. A little. I thought it was just a walk, but it didn't take long enough. We arrived at the restaurant at 08:38 and most of the food had already been collected. The two aunts were making hot spicy rice balls themselves and waiting for the ingredients. The food is simple, but it feels so warm and delicious. Please note that in winter there is only heating supply, so you can open the window zzz at night, and everything else is fine.

First of all, I was guided to breakfast at check-in. Because it was a Bon Festival time, there was a paste that the breakfast time was early in the elevator, but it was guided at the front desk at the usual time. Under the corona, the locker of the bath was pulled out, but when the locker without the key was opened and asked the front desk whether it was possible to use it, it was answered that it did not get the point. This ryokan is located in front of the Osaka Bay in the small bourgeoisie of Kada, 100 mts from the very beautiful sanctuary of Awashima-Jinja and 400 mts from the shipper for Tomogashima. The Japanese style rooms (tatamis on the ground, futons and hyper moulded couettes) are very spacious with a loggia with a XLL view of the sea and the Tomogashima and Jinoshima islands, especially for the sea side rooms. The dinner and breakfast, as well as the Japanese as it is due in a ryokan (traditional Japanese hostel), are a real pleasure for eyes and papillae. The service is courteous and careful, the charm of the atmosphere slightly over the year of the places operates. Standard Japanese business hotel, albeit with an onsen and newer than most. Breakfast is adequate, with western coffee on offer. Location is not central, but within 10-15 minutes walking distance to Shimo-Isaka station, restaurants, and a supermarket. Not exactly geared towards non-Japanese travelers, since the staff hardly speaks English and the hotel information given is only in Japanese. Extremely satisfied with it considering the affordable room rate.
