Had a nice stay in this somewhat rustic resort not far from the entrance to Yellowstone. It isn't the Ritz, but it doesn't purport to be, and my wife thought it looked like the setting for a Hallmark Christmas movie. Diana is a blur of motion as she warks hard to make everyone's stay pleasant. Do not expect to come here and stay plugged into the world, as the internet is awful and there was no TV in our room, only at the main lodge. This was not a bad thing, good to get away from the gadgets for a while. We did have a visitor while there, shown in picture. Recommended.

Family-run lodge with rustic cabins and a family atmosphere. Very friendly and accommodating; they require a “reservation” if you want to eat dinner at the lodge, but accommodated us when we arrived just at dinner time! This is not your place if you like “luxury”, but if you are spending your days in Yellowstone it is a perfect location. It is in a national forest. We think we found a bear track outside our cabin, and we did see bears and elk a few miles away! Complimentary ice for the cooler was a nice surprise.

We found it to be the perfect "home away from home" during our week long Yellowstone visit. Clean and quiet. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. The rushing creek always welcomed our return. Of course on the clear night the stars were awesome. Staying on the east side of Yellowstone made our morning and evening trips full of wildlife, so glad we stayed here instead of the west side. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at Creekside. We actually stayed at this lodge on our first visit to Yellowstone 30 years ago and had fond memories of it. It was well worth our return. The owner is new, but she is a delight. The cabins have been redecorated to bring in more light and new fixtures added. The setting is the best. You are just 10 miles from the East Gate of Yellowstone in a generally undeveloped area; wildlife abounds, and the Shoshone Canyon walls are exquisite, especially in late afternoon light. Fall asleep listening to the gentle murmur of the creek.

Our reservations were from Saturday to Thursday. Unfortunately we could not get there Saturday so I called to make sure they would not give our room away. The man assured me it would be ours. We arrived Sunday evening about 6:00 after a day of the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. We had not made dinner plans and Diana offered dinner to us. We had a great pulled pork sandwich and fries. That was the only meal we had while there. We took lunch meat and snacks and ate in Yellowstone every day. My husband did go into the bar at Creekside a couple of evenings and had a nice visit with others there. The rooms are quaint and there are space heaters and a little fan. We did not use either one, as the normal heater was plenty. We brought a small refrigerator with us as there is not one nor a microwave. You have the option to use the microwave in the lodge if need be. To stay several days as we did and take food to eat in the park you really need a refrigerator. There is no coffee maker either so I took a hot pot and instant coffee for my husband. Purchase food and supplies before you get to Yellowstone. There are no grocery stores near Creekside and the ones in the park are expensive. But that was expected, so we had brought most of what we needed. While Creekside is just a few miles from the entrance to Yellowstone it still takes you a couple of hours to really get anywhere in the park you want to go. Just plan accordingly. Creekside had a beautiful creek just outside our door and we sat outside a couple of nights. It was a great stay. Diana was a great host.

Stayed here instead of in Yellowstone Park. This may have been a mistake (due to all the driving we had to do), only in that it is quite far from the interior of the park where things are. Yes, it's only about 15 minutes away from the East Entrance, but then you've got another 30-45 minutes before getting to the park crossroads. However, Creekside is still cheaper, and the accommodations were excellent and in a great location. Clean and friendly, quiet, as there isn't a lot of traffic on the road nearby. There is wildlife on the property like Bison and Big Horn Sheep! I'd recommend staying here if you don't want to pay Yellowstone's ridiculous prices and don't mind driving so much.

The bed was very comfortable, a wonderful shower and everything was so clean. Those are the three things most important to me. The front porch was an added bonus to the cabin. They told us we were in the smallest of the cabins but we had plenty of room. Breakfast was very good. The staff was excellent. Very accommodating. We were visiting Yellowstone Park and it is only 10 miles from the park. Added bonus. We would love to stay here again.

We had the cutest cabin (#5) here at Creekside. It was VERY clean and rustic. We enjoyed sitting on our porch in the evening breathing in the fresh air. The owners are friendly and helpful. There is breakfast served every morning, an extra fee but worth it. Creekside is just minutes from the east entrance to Yellowstone and about 45 minutes from Cody. There is free WIFI but it can be spotty at times. Highly recommed!!

Great location just outside Yellowstone park. Originally built in 1909 for Teddy Roosevelt Cabins were quaint but fully equipped and very comfortable. Lodge was spacious and as we rented the whole facility the commercial kitchen was fully equipped and we had no trouble preparing meals for all of us. Although removed from civilization Cody is less that 40 miles away and stores for any supplies needed. Everyone loved the place. Ages from 3 to 77 tears old. The owners live adjacent and were great and hospital and were more like part of the family than managers. Couldn't have asked for anything more. We do reunions all across the country and this was one of the best locations
