The Old Fourpenny Hotel

Stayed here one night so that we could visit the castle. Lovely pub and great food. Staff were freindly and welcoming. Our room was in the pub courtyard, which seeing the weather was warm, was great as we sat with a drink and meal and read a book and didn't have far to go to bed! There was a large work party that evening, who were all outside in the courtyard but they didn't really disturb us once we had gone to bed. Room was really nice and clean, bed was comfortable and I loved the pillows. We were given a slip to allow us to park at the racecourse a little way down the road. We left our car there the next day and walked to the castle which saved on parking charges. We paid for breakfast which was nice and filling. I would definitely stay here again but don't think we will ever be back up that way as lovely as Warwick Castle is, we found there wasn't a lot going on.

Pictures on website do not do this justice Arrived early, they took out bag and placed in the room, so we could park and go into town. Came back at 3 to check in, the room was very clean and smelled divine, The staff were very welcoming, had a room in the courtyard which had outside seating and access to the garden. The breakfast was also very nice. Would highly recommend.

Superb place. Lovely and clean great staff. Food was excellent had evening meal and full breakfast both really filling and tasted Superb. Lovely outside seating area for food or drinks Little bit of walk from where you park car but not a real problem. Would definitely visit again

My husband and I booked into room 10 for a short break while visiting Warwick, super quick and efficient check in, and we were able to park our car on the nearby race course as part of our stay. Room 10 is in the courtyard garden, and was super clean, with excellent bedding, towels and extras, and also had a little table with 2 chairs reserved for your room, just outside in the courtyard. We had breakfast both mornings, which was of a very high standard, the choice was fantastic, and service impressive. We also ate in the restaurant on our second evening , again the food was wonderful, considering they were also serving dinner to a party of 43 locals, we were given a very good service by Jordan and Maddie, and also had the chef asking if everything was ok, and it really was, Have to mention Tom in the bar who also gave great service with a smile. It’s close enough to walk into the town, castle and race course We would certainly recommend this wonderful small hotel.

Ate here during a weekend in Warwick for the races. Lovely conservatory area in which to dine as well as bar and outside. The staff were pleasant and the food was great. I thought food was reasonably priced by today's standards. Would definitely return.

Another warm and welcoming stay at the Fourpenny. The accommodation is functional but the rooms are a good size, beds are comfortable and the shower is hot! Excellent food and really welcoming team. Added bonus is that it’s so close to the city centre.

Excellent value for money staff couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast choices great and quality second to none. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant again very good value. The bar kept a wide selection of wines spirits keg ales of which some were sampled with know complaints

Been to the Fourpenny Shop numerous times,both with family and the two of us , because it’s great! This establishment is well decorated ,clean and has a lovely community feel about it. The staff stay much the same ,which I feel is always a great sign too. We were served by Jordan once again for our Sunday Lunch, who is always very polite and efficient. Our Lunch today was early but the restaurant soon fills up , so always book. The Fourpenny is very close to Warwick Castle , so ideal for Lunch after a visit. We specifically went for the Roast Sunday Lunch and it never disappoints. We had the Pork and Beef, both the meats were fabulous quality. You always get the Large Yorkshire Pudding with Roast and lashings of Vegetables . In addition , extra gravy too! We didn’t have the Desserts this time, but they have been excellent on previous visits. Great , good value food ,in cosy ,comfortable surroundings. Glad to have it in Warwick.
