I have been spending time at Lonno lodge quite regularly in the last few years, the work that Sylvia and Aldo did to make this hotel quiet, intimate and relaxing is mind blowing, the service is always on point, the place is just magical for anyone who’s looking for a quiet healthy getaway

This charming very small hotel is ideal for a quiet holiday but within easy reach of excellent restaurants nearby. The Italian owners Sylvia and Aldo as well as the manager are on hand to welcome you and make your stay a great experience which it was - nothing was too much trouble, we spent a lot of time going out in tuktuks and taxis which was all sorted by the hotel. The food was good, the bedroom extremely comfortable and the pool was glorious. The sea is accessible during low tide with shoes. One of the many highlights was the excellent massage. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We arrived at this green oasis adjacent to the Indian Ocean after a dusty safari and were greeted with warmth and smiles and a cool drink. This lovely lodge is private and located away from the hustle and bustle of Watamu. Rooms are beautifully appointed, clean, light. The pool and its environ is a mass of greenery and flowers. The staff are very attentive and only happy to help with taxis, diving or shopping. Loved our visit with Sylvia and Aldo. Gracious hosts.

We stayed at this lovely place at the end of our safari - a perfect ending to a perfect trip thanks to Silvia and her very attentive staff. Between scuba diving visiting local markets and fine dining at lonno lodge what more is there to ask ? We could have stayed longer

Absolutely beautiful and charming place. We were made to feel so welcome by the couple who run the hotel and all the staff were so delightful and helpful. The design of the buildings, done by the Italian owners, is very attractive and the position looking out over the Indian ocean was dreamy. We had a fabulous room high up in a tower and slept with the windows open allowing in a lovely cooling breeze from the ocean. We wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be back!

What’s an incredible hotel with the most delicious food. From the moment we arrived until we left we felt very pampered and absolutely loved the setting. There is nothing which I would change and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Michele who even went out his way to come and play paddle with us, we very much looking forward to visiting again, and if in Watamu it is the place to stay!!! Also Robert the tutut driver was an added bonus.

Amazing place, very peaceful, clean rooms with pleasant staff. I enjoyed my stay especially the large clean swimming pool and the raised swing bed overlooking the ocean. I’ll definitely be back soon. Thanks Silvia and your wonderful team.

My cousin and I had the pleasure of staying at Lonno Lodge and we absolutely loved it. Silvia, Aldo, Grace and Michele were incredible hosts. Staying at Lonno Lodge feels like you are part of a family and the property itself is very beautiful. The staff make sure that you have everything you need at all times and the team does an amazing job of helping you book activities if you are interested in doing some. I would have loved to see more options regarding breakfast and I hope the menu can be expanded a little bit. Thank you so much for giving us such an incredible time - Lonno Lodge is just AMAZING.

Lonno lodge is an excellent place for a get away but it also worked very well for us with plenty of programme outside. The decor is very elegant and harmonius. The service is top- notch, tailored to each customer. We very much enjoyed the food because we love Italian cuisine and seafood. If you expect to have a vast sand beach this may not be your place but we enjoyed the natural and beautiful beach for swimming. The lack of air con in the room with 30 + temperature outside was not a huge issue for us as the fans compensated but may be an issue for some.
