Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort at Frenchman's Reef, Autograph Collection

This booking is a total rip-off from the beginning to end. 1.Make sure you have free cancelation because you will surely use it. 2. Just know that there are extensive hidden fees including paying for paddle boarding, scuba diving, etc whether you use them or not all guest are required to pay at the end amongst other things. 3.Customer Service was horrific from beginning to end starting with long check in wait times without any acknowledgement also don't expect them to initially fill you in on the astronomical fees that they tack on in the end.Also, upon finding out they placed me on a ground level floor facing all the foot traffic opposite of any ocean or scenic views, I was promised a room change the following day which never happened for the duration of my stay. 4. Room service surprisingly came to my room at 8pm inquiring about service which was bizarre. 5.Food is insanely expensive including room servic delivery. I paid almost $50 for a small sized pizza at the low end restaurant.Free Breakfast which was listed upon booking as well as on my receipt was anything but free so be where.They told me upon checkout it is only $80 but there is nowhere stating that information. One hostess at Salt shack told me it would would be a 20minute wait for breakfast or I can try a buffet upstairs but after walking in the hotsun upstairs there was no buffet or restaurant and so the 20 minute wait continued. 6.Overall hiddeen fees were were astronomical.This is a 2star rating at best.i hate that I chose this place for my stay it was a total rip off!

Hotels for business are so vanilla. This “Gem” is so special. From the moment I arrived to the time I returned this evening, I just felt that personal touch. Who takes time these days to write a note, and to place your stuff on a neatly folded cloth? Thank you Micha & Marlene and your team at the Bouy Huse for making me feel so special.

I’ve probably spent 4,000 hotel nights in my lifetime so placing the BUOY HOUSE in my top 3 is saying something. The cleanliness is some of the best I’ve ever seen. The politeness of the employees was so amazing. Housekeeping department is so impressive and attention to detail in our room is hard to beat. Front desk welcome is so relaxing and a “homey” feeling of comfort. Room location is the closest (30 feet) from the sea and waves that I’ve ever seen or experienced. Davidson management group is kicking butt and making a huge mark of excellence with this property. FYI, I have no affiliation with the Davidson management team. Since I’ve have stayed over 4,000 nights, it’s hard to impress me and this property has max’d out all the perfect scores.

Great resort that is very clean and management attends to you when requested. The property manager, Micah, is very customer friendly and does what he says. Food is also excellent!! The ocean is great!! I am here in September and the seaweed is coming ashore. However, due to how diligent the staff is, they have been removing the seaweed daily.

Andrew Houghton the managing director was incredible. He was very personable and made the experience a fun and happy one. Wendy at the Tide pool went out of his way to spoil my mother and our friends. He constantly checked on us making sure our needs were met and that we were 100% happy. Kyami was also great. Everyone was mentioned in this review really made a difference. Thank you to Andrew, Wendy, and Kyami.

We came for our 40th Anniversary. The resort is even more beautiful than the pictures. The food was fantastic at all of their restaurants. Everyone on staff was amazing and so attentive. The place was immaculate. Super clean and looked and smelled brand new. Our pool side attendant Belto was so sweet and so kind. He brought us anniversary gifts and was so attentive poolside. He was so friendly , we wanted to take him home with us. Ja’Kalah was so sweet also. She was such a great server and also made a big deal about our Anniversary. It was a perfect experience and we will definitely be back!!!! Thank you Buoy House and Staff! Amazing

Shout out to everyone at Buoy Haus, especially Marie, Margot, and Wendy. The service here is amazing, and we are very thankful for the opportunity to spend time at this beautiful location with such a caring and focused team. We plan to return very soon.

I will say that Shay-lin & Michelle are the best bartenders ever. If staying here I recommend drinking with them. No One else.will always drink with them When I am Here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I planned this last minute trip & couldn’t have had a better experience. Unfortunately, we arrived 1 day after Tropical Storm Ernesto. Fortunately, this resort/their workers did everything possible to ensure an amazing time was had, regardless. We weren’t allowed on the beaches bc of the storm, but staying at the pool at this resort was enough. Having access to the Westin was SO nice and the shuttle was very convenient. Everything was so clean and the workers were beyond gracious. Our favorite worker was Ron, the bartender at the Sand Bar. He truly made us the best drinks we have ever had and was so friendly and fun to talk to. We made jokes that we would come back just for him! Jamal, who helps out at the pool was also amazing and so gracious!!! Truly can’t say enough good things about this spot. Will definitely be back in the future!
