Wayanad Wild - Rainforest Lodge - a CGH Earth Experience

The resort is located right inside the forest which gives you an amazing experience to explore the flora and fauna of the diverse species of the western ghats. The naturalist Umesh and his team explained about the life cycle and behaviour of all the species we spotted during our nature trials. We spotted Jackal, different types of frogs, wine snake, pit viper snakes and different birds. Apart from this our stay at the resort was safe and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful all the time. And food was excellent especially I liked the Malabar dishes.

If you want to feel the nature,CGH earth Wayanad is the place..I loved each and every bit of the stay.. the treks, culinary exp,the courteous staff, Malabar cuisine..why CGH is best is coz how beautifully they created the property with minimal change done to forest.. plz don’t expect the AC & TV, here you can relax and listen beautiful birds chirping. This place is not a luxury one with modern amenities however luxury to bring you close to nature. Perfect place for photography, bird watching etc From Parking to Property, CGH will take care , it’s a 30 mins off roading.. which is all together diff feeling

Cgh was very good to stays, the nature walk was awesome, but the thing we missed was bar but the service was good.

Exceptional place. Cordial staff, fantastic food and hospitality. Thoroughly enjoyed nature in and around property. The cottages are extremely beautiful, well maintained and has all the necessary items. Service was very promp, even attended by staff late in the night

We stayed at wayanad wild for 2 nights. The staff here is courteous. We enjoyed the activities included in the package such as small trek, morning bird watching and night expenditure. Even the food here is amazing with a wide variety of traditional kerala cuisine. Me and my husband enjoyed this experience thoroughly. Kuddos to the staff here. You are amazing!

This resort was a thrill experience for us, as they made us do with various activities, amazing. The naturalist, wildlife specialist with full of knowledge gave us so much of information abt the forest and diff species. Food was great, rooms were neat & clean, staff were so polite and friendly. It was well spend 2 nights on this property.

The best thing about the resort are the naturalists, there nature walks and hikes. The way they approach and appeal is amazing. Loved every moment. The rooms are luxurious and done tastefully. What's not done tastefully though is the rest of the resort. To put it rightly it is not thoughtful nor a premium experience, feels quite mediocore especially for a group like CGH. My thoughts are based on other resorts nearby and the pricepoint. It feels like a lot of corners were cut 1. No heated pool in this weather 2. No herbal tea/ mocktail bar 3. No gym (Not many would use with ample exercise but for those who like to hit every morning feels extra bad not to take full advantage of the environment) 4. Very small changing room and pool for a 33 room hotel. 5. No room service (I can understand that it attracts wildlife but a few snacks to go other than pitiful minibar would be loved by all) 6. Sufficient and tasteful Kerala food but North Indian options were not good (People would love extra unique food on holidays, which is missing) 7. Indoor room is quite insufficient for a property of this size, if properly is at near capacity then the lack of space and equipment would be clear. All in all not enough though is given to add Little things that would make the experience great and premium. Corners are cut and for a little extra the overall experience could have been way better.

The place was just awesome..We have never stayed in a forest..This place was tidy and beautiful...Very sustainable..Nature walk for Adults and kids is very unique..which makes this place different..Every staff are very courteous and welcoming...Food was also good..Keep up the good work...
