DO NOT stay at Days Inn by Wyndham in Waynesboro, Virginia. We got there and there was DIRTY underwear in our room along with food in the refrigerator, so they switched us rooms and our 2nd room smelled AWFUL. At this point we were so hot and tired, we just made it work. My husbands nana and papas first room smelled heavily of 🍃 so they switched them rooms. The floors were SO DIRTY we had to keep our shoes on the whole time. Fast forward to this morning when we were leaving…. These rooms were booked in January and we was given the rate of $62 a night. When checking out they said it was going to be $90 which is clearly not the rate that was given for these dates the first time. The “manager” at the front desk was rude and said she had no idea where the rate of $62 came from because “they don’t have rooms for $62” 🤔 yet we had the confirmation booking print outs right in front of her face??? So, she basically said too bad so sad and couldn’t honor what was printed on paper or what we were told. Needless to say, lesson learned and we won’t be back.

Beds were clean and comfortable. Room space was nice and had nice amenities for the price. But the floors and bathroom were dirty. Our feet were black from the filth and the bathroom was noticeably dirty with trash still around the showers. Had my stay been $60-80 I wouldn't have thought much of it. But for $100, pretty disappointing. I did notice they are under new management so I'm really hoping they're taking steps to improve these things because it really has nice features with the pool area and room size and such. Great location too.

Inexpensive and adequate. Avoid staying near stairs on ground floor rooms as it avoids heavy suitcases in the morning being dropped down the stairs at 6 - 7 am one stair at a time..

The room had been nicely remodeled, and was spacious. Not a luxury place, but for the low price it can’t be beat.
The free breakfast was meager, and waffle maker was AWOL.

The rooms are updated and look very nice. Our room had hardwood (of some sort) versus carpet which also helped it seem cleaner. However, although we were in a non-smoking room there was a heavy, heavy smoke smell that seemed to be saturated into the walls. We stayed less than an hour before having to leave because of the smell. It was making us sick. We had a small infant and pregnant wife as well. We tried to get a refund, but because of ******* policies we were unable to. It was an awful experience.
