The price of 200+ during the May Day holiday is really conscience, and it perfectly avoids the bustling crowds. We took the train to Weihai Station at 1:30 pm, and went straight to Liugong Island when we arrived at the station, because the history of the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 must be told to the children. Other attractions are left to chance. The last boat to Liugong Island is at 3 o'clock, and there were not many people queuing for the boat when we went to the island. Check in first when you get to the island. Liugong Island Hotel is next to the cable car station and Dingyuan Ship. The No. 4 Courtyard we booked is not far away. It is the former site of the Beiyang Navy Hospital. There are two rows of bungalows in the courtyard, and the kang room is very distinctive. Before closing, we visited the Sino-Japanese War Exhibition Hall and Dingyuan Ship. After the last boat leaving the island at 6 pm, there were not many people on the island. We just played at the beach. In the evening, there is nothing else for children to play except the scenery of the island. To watch the sunset, you have to go to the westernmost part, and to watch the sunrise, you have to go to Donghong Fort. I didn't go with my two children to join in the fun. I thought it was unnecessary to stay overnight, but after taking the Grand Island Tour Bus early the next day, I gradually felt that there were too many people. I basically finished the tour and got off the island around 10 o'clock, and then I realized how wise it was to stay on the island. People waiting to get on the boat took pictures from the pier to the tourist center. The service staff of Liugong Island Hotel are very enthusiastic, and the dinner in the restaurant is delicious and not expensive. It is very good. It is recommended to move up the breakfast time to 7 o'clock, but the island cruise starts at 7 o'clock. If you eat slowly and catch up with the crowd, you will not have the advantage of staying on the island. 😁

Although it is the only hotel on the island, I don't recommend it. There are other B&Bs on the island that I can recommend... Because I went there on May Day, I was already tired from queuing for the boat. After a while, I went to the front desk and was told that the room I was staying in was 200 meters away, and there was no battery car to take it. I could only upgrade the room upstairs by paying extra, but the first room was on the second floor of the restaurant and it was super noisy, so I had to change another room. As a result, the toilet was broken and they said that the water in the smart toilet was small??? They gave me a basin to wash myself... What's worse is that there was a very noisy sound of running water at night. The customer service came over and said that it was the water heating that was so noisy... Well... I couldn't sleep with the sound of running water all night

The environment is beautiful and pleasant, the waiters are very warm and thoughtful, I give Liugong Island a big score, the key price is very affordable, we got up late, and they specially left us breakfast, thumbs up 👍

The room is quite good. There is a long table in the middle of the bed, with a plug board underneath for charging while lying down. The bathroom has a window, complete and comfortable facilities, and a beautiful environment at the door. However, there is no internet in the room, the Wi-Fi does not display and cannot be added, and the TV freezes from time to time. Everything else is quite good.

Stayed in Courtyard No. 5! Very close to various sea recreation experience bases. The room is very unique, with a small courtyard. The location is convenient for travel and sightseeing. It is recommended that the hotel can add a guest shuttle during the peak season.
