"My stay at the Atour Hotel Weihai was truly excellent this time around. The location is a huge plus, right next to Happiness Gate, and you can step right out to the sea. It's so convenient for walks and enjoying the sea views, and the night scenery is beautiful too. The hotel overall is clean and tidy, and the room decor is cozy, giving you a sense of quiet comfort and being well looked after. The bedding is super comfortable, and I slept really soundly. The service also deserves a special mention; the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to details. Amenities were complete, hygiene was spot on, and breakfast was abundant – I usually skip breakfast, but I couldn't resist here! For my two-night, three-day stay, on the second day they even brought four bottles of water and two bottles of honey black tea. That's why I booked two nights in Yantai and five nights in Qingdao. Atour is definitely a brand you can trust."

"Here’s a balanced review that highlights both the good location and the problems without sounding overly harsh: Good location, but room comfort and laundry facilities need improvement The hotel is in a very convenient location, directly opposite WEGO Shopping Mall, so it’s easy to find food, shopping and other amenities nearby. One of the highlights of our stay was the sea view, and we were able to watch a beautiful sunrise from the room. Unfortunately, the room itself was not very comfortable. The air-conditioning was not working well, which made the room feel quite warm and stuffy. We informed the hotel, and the staff responded by providing us with an additional fan. I appreciate their effort and the service was generally good, but for a hotel of this standard, the air-conditioning should be properly maintained. Another issue was the laundry area. There were simply not enough machines for the number of guests, and almost every time we went there, people were queuing and waiting to use them. This was quite inconvenient. Overall, the hotel has a good location, helpful staff and a nice sea view, especially for watching the sunrise. However, the air-conditioning and laundry facilities definitely need improvement. I would have enjoyed the stay much more if the room had been cooler and more comfortable."

"I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my 3-day trip to Weihai. I initially thought it was a small, boutique guesthouse, but later found out it actually has 48 rooms. It's located in Weihai's Xiaoshidao Scenic Area, right next to Huoju Bajie, with a beach nearby. It's a quiet retreat despite being in a popular area. I usually have high standards for accommodation and rarely stay in guesthouses, but I was generally quite satisfied with this one. Let's talk about the pros: the facilities are complete, with free snacks and drinks, good Wi-Fi, and a TV that supports screen mirroring. The bedding is comfortable, and the toiletries are the popular Anaya brand, which has a very soothing scent. The shower pressure is excellent, and the guesthouse is very quiet at night. The environment is absolutely beautiful, and the service is also great. They actively greet guests and help with luggage, and even drive you to the parking lot after check-out. If you have any issues, you can contact the butler via WeChat, and they respond promptly and are very accommodating. Now for the cons: the guesthouse's location is a double-edged sword. Getting in and out by car can be quite congested. There are hardly any good restaurants near the surrounding attractions, so you'll need to drive a few kilometers for meals. Breakfast can get crowded and a bit chaotic. The hotel's entertainment facilities are quite limited, with only a small pool suitable for children and a coffee bar. Overall, I was still very satisfied and would recommend it."

"Facilities: The hotel was fully booked, and we were very fortunate to get an upgrade to a suite. Many thanks to Jingjing for arranging it and to Sister Haixia for the thoughtful setup. The breakfast was decent, a mix of Chinese and Western options, and they even provided complimentary breakfast for our child. Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent; it was very comfortable to stay here. All the towels and bath towels were individually packaged and sterilized. Environment: The overall hotel environment was great. The lobby was bright and spacious, and the public areas were warmly decorated. The room had excellent soundproofing; we couldn't hear any noise from the hallway. Service: Jingjing and Sister Haixia were incredibly responsive to every request. They were also very quick to answer questions via private message. The hotel even arranged a ride for us to the train station, and the driver was very friendly and helped with our luggage. Every staff member we met in the hallways greeted us with a smile, truly making us feel welcome, like coming home. Thank you; you've made us want to choose you again when we return to Weihai."

"The room was quite spacious, with a separate wet and dry area, and the cleanliness was excellent. I went in late August, and the price was good; it would be even more affordable in September. They provided face towels big enough for showering, haha. The shower pressure was strong, but the water from the sink splattered everywhere every time I used it. Each room also had an air purifier, which was a nice touch from the owner, probably installed during the pandemic. The location is great, right on Torch Eight Street, making it convenient for photoshoots. They also have free washing machines and dryers. However, I do want to point out one thing: don't you guys use toilet bowl cleaner for the stains inside the toilet? Soaking it would get rid of the grime."

"The room's view was absolutely stunning, a breathtaking 270° sea view. The automatic curtains opened to reveal an unparalleled ocean vista. The entire hotel felt like a cruise ship, effortlessly offering panoramic views of the vast ocean and the ebb and flow of the tides. The hotel's unique ambiance made it a standout in the Rongcheng area. While its prime sea view location made it somewhat remote, it's very close to the Bruvis shipwreck and Swan Lake. The seaside train is also within walking distance. The hotel service truly exceeded my expectations. It wasn't just excellent in the usual sense, but a genuine and considerate warmth. Everyone there was enthusiastic and patient. So even though I was initially slightly dissatisfied with the late-night snacks, I was ultimately moved by the hotel's sincerity, smiles, and practical service philosophy, and felt quite apologetic instead. Special thanks to the hotel manager, who, knowing it was our first time there, drove us to see the shipwreck. On our last day, they even took us to the airport in the snow – truly a heartwarming and genuine gesture like family! I think we will definitely stay at this hotel again. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the service is excellent!"

"Had a very satisfying stay at the Crowne Plaza Weihai. After booking, the hotel proactively reached out via WeChat to coordinate my check-in. 'Hammer' (Tie Chui) from the staff was incredibly helpful and upgraded us to a sea-view room, which offered stunning views. The smart controls in the room were also a nice touch, very upscale. A big thank you also goes to Daisy at the front desk for assisting with our extension and for another room upgrade. Their proactive and enthusiastic service truly made a difference. The hotel's dining options were also quite tasty. Its proximity to Xianghai is very convenient. I'll definitely be returning to the Crowne Plaza for my next stay."

"This hotel, supposedly a five-star, comes with a hefty price tag but falls short compared to hotels like Hanting or Atour. My stay was truly disappointing. While the lobby design is quite impressive and the front desk staff were polite, it's all just superficial. First, the room lighting is incredibly dim, completely lacking that five-star hotel ambiance. Second, the shower door in the bathroom isn't properly sealed, leading to significant water leakage (see photo). Third, the air conditioning made strange noises at night, disturbing my sleep. Fourth, can you believe a five-star hotel provides toothbrushes with bent heads? (See photo). Fifth, in this day and age, they still only provide small bars of soap instead of liquid hand soap. Also, there was no mosquito repellent provided in the room during summer, and I had to specifically request it. Sixth, the room service efficiency is terrible. Due to the shower leakage, I requested two bath mats. Initially, no one answered the room service line, so I had to call the front desk instead. After making the request, it took nearly 20 minutes for the items to arrive."
