"The hotel's location is pretty good, backing onto Hanlefang and close to Weihai Station. However, the heating in the room was really poor; it ran for several hours with no noticeable effect. They don't even have a food delivery robot, so you have to go down to the first floor to pick up your takeout. Losing your room card costs 20 yuan to replace. For a 600 yuan hotel, they're really nitpicking over small things like that. The front desk service was quite mediocre. Overall, the experience was just average, though the hotel's hygiene was decent."

"Excellent location, right on the middle of the beach. Amazing views from the floor length windows in the seaview rooms. Obviously, being right on the beach there are so many restaurants, coffee shops, bars and convenience stores minutes away by foot. Rooms are comfortable with good beds, showers and Aircon. Breakfast is fine. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again next time I visit Weihai."

"Before coming to Weihai, I did a lot of research. I initially planned to stay at hotels like Hanting or Atour, but many reviews were negative. Then I stumbled upon a comment suggesting that in Weihai, one should choose local brands, so I booked this one. Honestly, I was a bit nervous because of the low price, but it turned out to be amazing value for money! For a 400-yuan hotel, the service was exceptional, comparable to a five-star hotel. Special thanks to Sister Zhang Li and security guard Xiao Wang for their warm and thoughtful service; they even let us borrow sand-digging tools. The breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse. The hotel has three restaurants, making it a top choice for families with kids who don't want to venture out. Plus, it's right opposite Weigao Plaza, within walking distance to the beach football field, and convenient for getting to other places. If you're unsure about anything, the hotel staff provides very detailed recommendations. My kid said we should definitely stay here again next time we visit!"

"I stayed for several days and it was great. The environment was good, and the front desk service was excellent. It's also quite close to the Big Picture Frame, which is perfect for taking photos. Overall, it was really good, and I'd definitely come back again."

"Fantastic! The room was spotless, very spacious, and even had a sea view. It was fully equipped with a fridge, washing machine, and an induction cooktop. The host also recommended a local morning market (where we bought some huge abalone and sea snails in the morning!) and even lent us a pot to steam a whole batch of fresh seafood. Since our train was late, they kindly allowed us to check out two hours later, which was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!!"

"I took my 80-year-old mother to Weihai to experience life in a coastal city, and Weihai left a wonderful impression on us. We stayed at the Blue Ocean Hotel, which has an amazing location. From our room, we had a panoramic view of the濱海公園 (Binhai Park) and the famous 'Big Photo Frame' sculpture. We just had to cross the road from the hotel to immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery.
Beyond the beautiful views, I especially want to thank Ms. Gong Xinru from the hotel. She was incredibly patient and meticulous in her work. When we checked out, we completely forgot three of my mother's favorite clothes in the room. From the moment we arrived at the station to head to our next destination, until several hours after we reached Jinan, Ms. Gong repeatedly called me because I wasn't answering my phone. She finally informed me about the clothes and promptly arranged for them to be couriered. By the time we arrived home, the package had already been successfully delivered. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Gong for her exceptional service."

XXianghuanyoushijiedexiaoguanguanAlthough the room dates back to 2016, it's in great shape overall, and the bathroom is incredibly spacious! Breakfast was also excellent; they even served Shin Ramyun, which I've never seen at other hotel breakfasts! The hotel is quite close to Weihai Park and the 'Big Photo Frame.' However, a notable drawback is that water tends to overflow easily in the bathroom, making the floor quite slippery, especially if you're wearing shoes. Getting to Hanlefang requires a taxi, and traffic can get very congested during dinner hours.

GGuest UserThis is Weihai's State Guesthouse, and as expected, the location is excellent. The room facilities were surprisingly good; we even got an upgrade to a room with a partial sea view, which was fantastic. The hotel staff were incredibly enthusiastic – from the lobby manager and front desk to the floor attendants, the friendly doorman, and the restaurant staff – everyone demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a genuine passion for service. It's clear the entire hotel is incredibly well-managed right now! Our stay was extremely comfortable and added significant positive emotional value to our trip. This is definitely a hotel we'll choose again next time we visit Weihai.

YYuyu-dearingFacilities: The facilities are very complete, and the slippers are of particularly good quality.
Service: The staff at the front desk, both the male and female attendants, provided excellent service. I wasn't feeling well, and the front desk even brought me brown sugar ginger tea. They also gave me a bottle of water when I checked out.
Hygiene: Everything was very clean, and I slept comfortably.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Weihai.

Pros:
1. Upon check-in, a staff member helped me with my luggage from the lobby.
2. My child lost a toy accessory in the room during our stay and we couldn't find it. When checking out, I asked the staff to look for it again when cleaning the room. In the afternoon, the hotel informed me that they had two teams search for it and finally found it. I'm very grateful, and they even helped arrange for it to be sent back to me with payment on delivery.
3. During one of the cleanings, they left two extra bottles of water and a note, indicating they noticed formula milk powder in the room and that more water might be needed for mixing it.
4. The male staff member in a black suit I met in the hallway and the female cleaner I met the next morning greeted me very politely.
5. During breakfast, a very tall manager and other service staff saw me with my young child and proactively offered to cook the noodles longer and even brought them to my table. When I mentioned that the yogurt was gone, they responded and refilled it very quickly.
6. The room has a great view, offering panoramic views of the beach and the pier.
Cons:
1. There were no Little Prince children's amenities or daily yogurt, which I had read about in other reviews.
2. The non-smoking floor was a joke. There was always a smell of smoke in the hallway, and there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the windowsill in the hallway right in front of our room. After I moved it to the trash bin near the elevator, a few hours later, a plastic box full of cigarette butts had replaced it in the original spot. After I reported this to the hotel, their only response was that the guest across the hall was smoking in the corridor and they had aired it out, with no other action taken.
3. The provided baby bed rail couldn't be fixed securely and was ineffective. At our request and prompting, they brought ropes to tie it down (at the previous hotel we stayed at, the bed rail was already tied and secured before our arrival).
4. During the mid-stay cleaning, they didn't notice clothes dropped on the floor, and the duvet was just folded haphazardly. However, they did proactively drain the water from the bathtub.
5. The hotel room card could open a door leading to the beach, but we weren't informed about this. We only found out from a passerby.

MMoshanghuakai666888Five-star praise! Traveling with npy, the hotel specially left room 520, and also arranged a lot of balloons in the room.
The hotel's seafood buffet is also good, including black tiger shrimp and crabs and other categories, and the oysters are a bit slow and harmless.
Guests can avoid bathing tickets, go out to play and take a bath to wash away the fatigue of the day (note that Tangquan closes at 11 o'clock).
It is a pity that I didn't experience late porridge to the service because I returned to the hotel late, so I will experience it next time.
Before leaving, the front desk lady also sent a doll, the real name liked (the photo has been approved by the front desk sister to shoot).

GGuest UserI stumbled upon this hotel with a floor-to-ceiling sea-view window room online and immediately fell in love with it. So, I took advantage of the three-day Qingming Festival holiday to visit Weihai. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and the actual experience was fantastic!
From the hotel's **exterior**, it felt like an older four-star, but once I entered the lobby, the overall impression was very neat, clean, and bright. You could tell that the hotel put effort into maintaining its facilities. The staff were also very enthusiastic, even calling a day in advance to confirm my itinerary and preferences. The **service** was excellent.
Since I arrived quite late on the first night, after 10:00 PM in Weihai, I booked a **standard king room** for the first night. It offered a street view, not the sea. The room was quiet and very clean, perfect for a good night's rest.
On the second day, around 9:00 AM, we moved to the sea-view room I had been looking forward to. I booked the **Deluxe Sea View Terrace King Room**. The room was still very clean and quiet. The interior decoration was on par with a five-star hotel (though the walls were a bit patchy and could use a repaint). Upon entering, there was a bathtub, and then the super large floor-to-ceiling window and terrace came into view. In front of the window, there was a soft sofa, which was incredibly comfortable and relaxing for drinking tea or coffee – it just made me so happy. The view from the terrace was also stunning; the sea was very clear on sunny days. In the evening, you could watch the sunset from the room. What could be more romantic than that?
The **breakfast** restaurant was a sea-view restaurant with a huge floor-to-ceiling window. Outside, there was a trestle bridge, the sea, and seagulls – the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast selection wasn't super extensive, but it covered most Chinese breakfast essentials, and the taste was good. For a four-star hotel, it was really impressive.
The **location** is in Huancui District, not far from attractions like Torch 8th Street. There are also many good restaurants nearby. Downstairs are Jinshatan Beach and the Jinhaiwan Trestle Bridge, where many seagulls hover.
The hotel has an elevator that goes directly to the beach, and guests are given an exclusive wristband. For families with children who want to play in the water during summer, it's very convenient – you can go straight back to your room via the elevator to wash up after playing.
Overall, the accommodation experience was excellent! Full marks, highly recommended!

They provide everything you could possibly need, so there's no need to pack extras – the attention to detail is truly impressive. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive throughout your stay; they respond promptly, patiently, and meticulously to any request, which is really heartwarming. Both the common areas and the rooms are well-organized with a wide array of items, fulfilling all sorts of travel needs. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, offering excellent value for money. Highly recommended! Breakfast was even delivered to the room.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Weihai Liugong Island Pier. I had a room on a high floor at the end of the building with exceptional view of the mountains, the city, coastline and sea. Floor to Ceiling Windows which was nice. Good & comfortable furniture in the room, including a great desk. TV was easy to use, with at least one English speaking channel - CGTN. However the bed was hard, and you could feel the springs in the mattress. The bathroom after use had a smell coming mainly from the drains. Not the best smell. Receptionist staff were OK, but not really friendly or welcoming. Even If you cant speak English, a nice smile would be great. I had a feeling that did not really want international guests staying at this hotel. Sorry just my impression. Still I would recommend this hotel. The room rate was great value and the views amazing.

Both were always smiling, gentle, and polite. When my travel plans changed mid-trip, they patiently helped me adjust my room type and check-in time. They thoroughly explained hotel amenities, breakfast hours, and local sightseeing routes, even proactively offering warm water to help ease my travel fatigue. For all subsequent inquiries, their responses were prompt and professional, and they consistently provided thoughtful and meticulous assistance. Their service was attentive and warm, showcasing a high level of professionalism and the hotel's excellent service standards. This comfortable experience wouldn't have been possible without their dedicated hospitality. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I'm in the area and highly recommend it to other travelers.

GGuest UserThe room was spotless, the service was excellent, and breakfast offered a generous spread. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel is perfectly situated directly across from the beach and a pier, with plenty of great bars and cafes in the vicinity. In the evenings, we enjoyed dining on the beach while listening to music, and even witnessed the most stunning sunset. There's also the popular San Shan Tian, an internet-famous cultural and creative shop. My entire experience was truly delightful.
