"This is a very old 5-star hotel, and the design feels dated. There was also a noticeable damp and musty smell. When we first checked in, we were given a room on the 5th floor. As soon as we opened the door, there was a strong wet and musty smell, so we requested to change rooms. The hotel moved us to a room just two doors away, which was much better and had less of the smell. However, the windows could not be opened. The location is good, and the hotel is connected to a beautiful bridge where you can enjoy a nice sea view. Overall, the hotel really needs some renovation and updating as it feels quite old. If you decide to stay here, you may want to request a higher-floor room."

"Our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Weihai Weigao was fantastic, and we especially want to thank Tonia at the front desk. We initially booked for one night, but after exploring, we decided to extend our stay. Tonia was incredibly responsive and patiently helped us with the extension, making the whole process efficient and hassle-free. The hotel is centrally located, with a mall right downstairs and close proximity to the beach, which made getting around very convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable with a nice sea view. Overall, the service was thoughtful and attentive. We'll definitely prioritize staying here again on our next visit to Weihai."

"The room was quite clean, and I could see the sea, but it wasn't right on the beach. It was a bit difficult to order takeout, as delivery fees were 20+ and not cheap. However, Molly from the hotel provided excellent service. When I asked for some water, she immediately had staff bring up a whole bag of it. She was always very responsive to any questions I had, and the breakfast was decent too."

"Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and exceeded our expectations, especially for a quiet family vacation. However, Weihai is a very long and narrow city from north to south. I wouldn't recommend it if your main destination is Torch Eight Street, as it's very, very far. It's much more suitable if your main destination is Hanlefang. From the hotel, you can easily reach Jiulong Bay Park with a minimum fare, which is great for kids to go crabbing and many locals also come here to pick clams. **Facilities:** The bedding is very comfortable, especially for someone like me who is particular about pillows – I was very satisfied. Other facilities are standard for this price point, including a swimming pool and a gym. The shallow end of the pool is 1.2 meters deep, and the water temperature is 28-29 degrees Celsius. **Hygiene:** The room felt very new, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Those with young children can rest assured. **Environment:** The hotel's interior is excellent. On our first day, it was very windy, and our child played in the lobby on the ground floor for half the day without getting bored. The exterior is a relatively quiet residential area. **Service:** They offer pick-up and drop-off service from Weihai Station, and there were welcome fruits. If we had any issues, the butler was always reachable. Upon check-out, they thoughtfully gave us some fruits and snacks. The breakfast selection was rich and tasty, and baby utensils were available."

"The hotel is just over 4 kilometers from Weihai Station, a very short taxi ride. The sea view from the room is delightful, and you can reach the beach by crossing the road downstairs. Nearby are the Weihai Grand Theater, Library, Science and Technology Museum, International Exhibition Center, and Mass Art Museum, making it a great place for an after-dinner stroll. I especially loved the steamed red dates at breakfast. I feel this hotel offers better value for money than Weigao Plaza."

"Staying at Chunzhu International Hotel during my trip to Weihai was a great choice! The location is fantastic – I could walk to Hanlefang, which was super convenient for enjoying Korean food and browsing the night market. For those driving, there's free parking and even charging stations, making travel worry-free. The room itself was spacious and elegant, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and there was always plenty of hot water. The soundproofing was good, so I had a peaceful night's sleep. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were all very attentive and welcoming. Getting to all the attractions around Weihai was a short drive. This is definitely a top pick for a vacation, and I'll choose it again next time I'm in Weihai!"

"This was a holiday trip, and both the hotel's front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were incredibly friendly and helpful! Even though the hotel is a bit older, the room had no strange smells. My only minor quibble is that it's not as high-tech as some newer places, but overall it was great, and the location is excellent. They even have a gym, which was super convenient when it rained and I couldn't go out for a walk. Oh, and the hotel's buffet dinner was absolutely delicious and well worth it! And very clean too!!"

"Choosing this hotel was such a great decision! We booked a sea-view room, and the hotel even upgraded us to an even better one with an absolutely unbeatable view. What's more, the staff were incredibly thoughtful and warm. Today, as we were leaving, there was a small hiccup – I left something in the parking lot. Zhang Haonan and Li Wei from the concierge team immediately went out in the scorching sun to help me search for it, and then arranged for it to be couriered home. I was so touched by their actions. They truly represent the quality of the people of Weihai and all the hotel staff. Shandong people are indeed hospitable! I'm already planning another trip to Weihai just to stay at Chengtou Hotel again."

"My stay at Weihai Xintai International Hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The room was elegantly styled and spacious, feeling open and not at all cramped. It was spotlessly clean, fresh, and odorless. The bedding was high-quality, incredibly comfortable and relaxing, ensuring a superb night's sleep. The facilities were comprehensive and practical, very well-maintained, and the soundproofing was excellent, making for an exceptionally quiet night. Every detail showed thoughtfulness, providing a truly reassuring and pleasant stay. This is my top choice for accommodation in Weihai, and I'll definitely book here again next time!"

"This hotel's price is let down by its service. The hardware is impeccable; having been renovated in 2024, everything is well-maintained and meets five-star standards. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast is quite varied, but the selection is the same every day. By 9 AM, many dishes are empty, and they can't keep up with cutlery – the chopstick dispenser is often empty, and there are sometimes no cups at the beverage station. The most unacceptable thing is that for the first guests arriving at 6:30 AM, the tables were sticky, clearly not wiped clean from the previous day. The front desk staff's service quality is only comparable to a chain hotel. All the hotel staff are robotic and unprofessional, lacking enthusiasm and proper training. This hotel's room rate is truly hampered by its service quality!"
