Hotels Near Midland Park in Wellington

I was so impressed with the reception staff, who were friendly, accommodating and professional. Claudia and Ella went out of their way to help, and did it with a smile. Claudia met us to drop off a key for the car park, which was very thoughtful as my mother can't walk far these days. Our room is lovely, so central, modern and fresh. Great to just step out the door, and be so close to the shops and other activities...its just a hop skip and a jump from the cable car. Given the 5 star treatment we've received, I would definitely stay here again, when next visiting Wellington. I will also consider booking a Quay hotel when traveling around NZ. The location is a 5-minute walk from the Prime Minister's Office. It is on a large slope. Self-driving parking uphill and starting side parking are all technical activities. The hall and room can only be said to be ok, after all, it is not a fashionable hotel, although some desks and sofas have a light luxury style (pay attention to professional habits). Breakfast order + buffet, my evaluation is only passable, fried rice is okay. I met a Taiwanese girl in the service, and she was very enthusiastic. Take the initiative to bring us water, after all, there is no water in the room. Taxi is easy to take, and many restaurants close early on Labor Day. But I learned the local Meituan of Uber eats. Compared with the domestic advanced driving and running, it is not an electric motorcycle. After all, there are fewer people running. Opposite the parking lot is public. The hotel opposite has a swimming pool.

It's close to Queen's Wharf. The rooms are large and tall. The outer building is very European style. Arrive, very good feeling, if the price can still be recommended

The pillows were so soft.. my bed was so soft and comfy..had a great sleep.. room was quiet .staff friendly and so obliging. Always feel welcome and just q chilled environment..room clean.. restaurant great food.. I highly recommend ++++

The location was convenient and the price was acceptable, for an apartment hotel they have thought about somethings to make life convenient such as providing washing powder for the washing machine. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The lighting was not great, in the bedroom there were only two small bed side lights so it not great for reading in bed. The shower head was falling into the wall and when I asked to get it fixed so i could stand under it they moved it to the other side where it fell slightly less towards the wall. There was shampoo/conditioner and body was provided however no hand soap for washing hands The one window that opened was open when i arrived and one of the window closures was too high to reach easily and i couldn't fully close the window initially until i got a chair to stand on it to do so The other little thing that would make things easier for anyone staying is to move the fridge door to open from the other side so you can open the door and against the wall I struggled with the lighting over all but at least they had a separate light in the lounge that i could turn on so i could actually read my book as there was very little ceiling lights The woman on reception desk was very good and a credit to the hotel. she remained calm when things turned chaotic at the announcement of a lock down and lots of guests having to check out early to get home

Stayed for 2 nights on and adults weekend away. Great little hotel, rooms are nice with fully equipped kitchen in the suite. I would recommend the suite rather than room for a bit more space. Nice little touches like Bottled water, an Organic fruit drink and chocolate in your room on arrival. Plus you can help yourself to soft drinks and coffee in the lobby anytime. Came with breakfast (continental) which looked nice but we ate out. Customer service was really god. Very close to everything, Will stay again. The only thing that bothered me was no opening windows, but fresh air vents are in place.

This hostel is right in the city center, there is a grocery store across the road, and it is a few minutes walk to the Papa Museum. The whole hostel and our room were very clean. We were impressed with the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and we felt great with a hairdryer and a straight hair stick in the ladies bathroom. The staff was friendly and you could still have a very affordable breakfast at the hostel. When you are in Wellington, we definitely recommend you to stay at this hotel.

No extra bed, breakfast is standard hotel buffet breakfast, milk coffee juice drink, fried egg bacon sausage grilled mushroom, fruit oatmeal bread chant, butter jam. That's it. The location is very close to the city center. You can drive to the museum and the seaside in 8 or 9 minutes. The front desk of the hotel is responsible for parking and picking up the car. It costs 30 yuan per day for parking, no extra tip is required.

We had no view from the room on this one but location-wise, the Q is excellent. It is on the main street making it the ideal base to explore Wellington. It is a tiny, sleepy city so it was good to be in the heart of it, although there is no little late-night supermarket (after 10) handy! Our room is pretty spacious with two double beds with a long desk/dressing table (for displaying all the 40th birthday cards) with a couple of comfy chairs alongside the desk chair. There’s good lighting all-round plus spare bedding in the cupboard. We didn’t get to use the kitchenette in our time although having a fridge is essential to me. In addition, there is an ironing board, hairdryer and kettle amongst the home comforts. Storage-wise there are about 8 quality wooden hangers in a single wardrobe and sufficient shelving and drawers to look after us for four nights. The bathroom has a good size bath with jets and the all-important heated towel rail so we didn’t need to have them changed. The service was great and on the other side of the hotel, we had use of coin-operated washing machine and dryer and were able to buy a small laundry detergent box from reception.

Nice serviced apartment hotel in a fabulous location perfect for accessing all parts of this astonishing city. Less than 10 minutes walk to the Basin Reserve cricket ground which was the main reason for our visit to catch the Kiwis v England 5-day test match. Friendly staff, nicely appointed rooms and suites with a washing machine and tumble dryer in the bathroom. The washing machine was essential for a 9-night stay with us only bringing carry on cabin luggage. We never used the tumble dryer as they are so bad for the environment and clothes tended to dry quite quickly naturally as well making use of the heated towel rail in the bathroom. We had a suite which consisted of a combined kitchen and living area, separate bedroom and large en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Absolutely perfect for a long stay.
