Best Hotels near Caister Castle Motor Museum, West Caister

To be honest, it’s a good value for money hotel it’s not the best but the Price is honest only problem I encounter is heating not working. Windows are single glazed so imagine the wind coming through your room from the sea was my second stay here. Breakfast is good but you can see the lack of investment throughout

Great service

Absolutely lovely stay again and we're already looking forward to our next visit. It's great to have somewhere near town with private parking, breakfast included and first rate customer service. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's close enough to town and amenities for a very enjoyable time.

We came down for a funereal, abit upset as we was unable to book into room early even though we even said about paying extra to get into our room early. The room was clean and tidy, apart from 1 public hair in the bathroom, which can’t be helped. Comes to trying to sleep and then the problems started, it sounded like there was a helicopter under neath us, it was so loud, we don’t sleep with the tv but we had the tv so loud and you could still hear it, I went down and complained they turned the air con off was no help what so ever. Then an actually helicopter came out aswell so we had the noise ontop of us and below us for half an hour, I know the real helicopter has nothing to do with travel lodge, it finally stopped at 3am and started again at 5am, so we managed to get 2 hours sleep. I was ready to get the pillow and the blanket and go and sleep in the car. The bed was also like sleeping on a rock. I couldn’t be any happier being back home with the worst night sleep of my life!! Was horrendous! Complaining didn’t get anything sorted, I can’t believe we had to pay for this room, was a joke; even laying there at one point staring at the ceiling saying I’m going to try and get a few hours in the car. If I was in my car I would of ended up in the car, but unlucky we wasn’t and was in my partners which is a lot smaller car then mine. Dont think i will ever book a travel lodge again!!

A very warm welcome from Mike who manages the establishment. Our room was called Treasure of the Broads. It was beautifully decorated, a huge modern bathroom with rain shower over the top of it. We had a meal in the evening and although we hadn’t booked prior to arrival and they were fully booked Mike had no issue with finding us a table with a great view of the Broads. We would definitely return again in the future. The atmosphere of the pub is relaxed but very professional. Credit to the Chef. A wedding was taking place on the day we arrived but this didn’t cause us any noise related issues and we enjoyed watching from afar! All staff and Mike couldn’t do enough for us and we were offered a late departure which we kindly accepted. A shame we couldn’t have stayed longer but a good excuse to return! Maybe because it was bank holiday meant the price was dearer. Definitely not worth £150 a night. But the bed was great. The bathroom a god size. As a guest however I feel I should not have been denied a dink at 10-45 . As the bar was open . But as a paying guest no service. I would not the recommend this hotel at the price I paid. £75 a fairer ask. The breakfast was good. The bacon top notch however.
