As I was admitted to hospital, we were unable to use our booking, so cannot comment on the location, cleanliness, service or facilities.
Had we been provided with a working telephone number for the hotel, we would have done the courtesy of letting them know.
I suppose I could have made up a glowing review, to earn the 50 Trip coin bonus.

The stay was really relaxing, even just for 1 night. It was very clean, really comfortable and there was a lovely welcome from the overnight staff member.

Perfect stopover to break up your journey when travelling onwards. Accessible from both sides of A1 and although on A1 it's very quiet. Staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are very clean. Highly recommend for sole travellers

This Travelodge is ideally situated in a good location just on the A1, the staff are all really very friendly, very helpful and cheerful, whilst it is a little dated it was clean and warm and was ideal for our purposes, it could do with more sockets in the rooms particularly near the bed

Hotel is in a terrible place, outside is dirty and unwelcoming and the hotel is poorly maintained. Right next to a HGV depot and with windows that don't shut so not expect a good night's sleep

Great stay, Lisa was very accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and quiet even when next to the main road. Good price as well, only paid £30 for the night and got free chocolates at the front desk which was a nice touch that you don’t normally get in other Travelodge

The staff were amazing however the location with all the petrol station and lorry and their drivers made access very hard for me .the inside was clean with tea and coffee etc . However outside was noisy due to lorries parked up!

Great welcoming from the staff very friendly explaining were we could get food from. corridors smelt nice the room was lovely and clean room was quite nice comfortable bed and a nice hot shower, just the heater in the room wouldn’t stay hot as I would like it but that’s my opinion you have KFC next door and a nice restaurant over the bridge when we was leaving we was greeting by the manager who was very nice and asked how our stay was and wished us a safe journey home we would definitely use this hotel again.
