We loved the Under Canvas property and all of the amenities it provided. The restaurant served delicious food and drinks and the lobby area had a small bar and fire pits with complimentary s’mores. We enjoyed our evenings hanging out at the property, it’s nice to be in nature & still have the comfort and amenities that Under Canvas provides.

I booked a deluxe tent for a night in May. Unfortunately it was windy that night , early morning around 4 , the wind started pushing the smoke from the chimney back to tent which set off the fire alarm. It continued for the next couple of hours. The rentals was torn near the chimney setup which might have made this worse. The staff was great and always prompt to help, however we ended up checking out early due to the unbearable cold in tent due to this heating system failure

If you don’t think you can “rough it”, you should try clamping at Under Canvas. You’ll have to learn to start a fire (they’ll teach you) and snuggling your downy soft king size bed. Create your own adventures in Yellowstone, and come back to friendly staff, sit by large campfires, eating s’mores and enjoy some great music. Great for all ages!!

This experience has been extremely accommodating for us as seniors, and would highly recommend it to any senior wishing to experience camping at its best.

This was a great experience. Loved the Safari room accommodations. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I loved the set up of the Lobby and the outside patio with the fire pits. The restaurant had great choices for dinner and was excellent.

A unique stay. Decided we’re not the roughing it types. May be. Better stay in warmer weather when you don’t have to use the wood stove. Everything smells like burning wood after sitting at the campfire and staying in our tent. Montana Jim did an excellent job of checking us in and explaining all the features. The best part for us was meeting people at the campfire at night. Music was also great. For people who love to camp this would be an excellent choice although a bit pricey.

Our receptionist was super nice and explained things well. It was dark when we arrived and we had a hard time finding the parking area as it is not lighted. Once we found it, we tried 3 different pathways to find out tent before we found the right one. Again, no lights. The signs are also not at the beginning of the trails, you have to walk 25-30 feet before you find a sign in the dark. Finding the bathroom tent in the dark was impossible. The tent itself was cute and cozy. The area around it was unkempt with weeds; basically a bunch of tents in a farmers field. Definitely not the charming experience I hoped for, considering the price.
