Yellowstone Motel - Adults Only

I had not researched it when I made the booking. It was kind of last minute and everything was booked up. Once I made the reservations my husband investigated and we didn't like what we saw so we had a lot of anxiety about staying there. There are NO REFUNDS so not staying there wasn't an option since I booked it for 5 days (lesson learned). When we arrived it looked like it did in the pictures. There was a very obnoxious smell when we walked in that gave me a headache. Thankfully it was just a plug in. The frig hadn't been cleaned out because there was blood in it from the last people. I didn't use the frig so I just ignored it but did report it when we checked out. Overall, it wasn't horrible but it wasn't good either. I would never stay there again. I did like how it was close to the Yellowstone entrance but I would rather stay somewhere nicer and drive further next time.

This is not the fanciest place to stay in West Yellowstone, but it's my favorite (we have stayed 5 or 6 times) because of the character -- and the fact that it's not a generic, predictable, national chain. It's original and quirky, and (esp. if you're inclined toward privacy) you can check in and out without meeting anyone. Every time I've stayed, the room -- I think they're all suites -- has had a kitchenette, though I wasn't looking for such. And it was fine on all the usual other qualities -- cleanliness, fresh towels, clean sheets, etc. I would recommend it.

Check in was a breeze, no one bothers you. You call or text the staff when you need something and they are quick to respond and are very friendly! The outside was a little odd but the rooms are so cute and clean and have everything you need. We just hated the parking, very narrow alley where you have to parallel park. We would definitely book here again!!

When we arrived everything is dark. Nobody answerd the phone. One container was open. What we saw was dirty and not very nice. After 1.5 hours we booked another hotel. Save ur time book directly somewhere else.

Our studio was lovely. Very neat and clean, cozy!! We were quite impressed. The manager kept in contact to make sure all was good.

This was by far the worst property I have ever stayed out. I made a reservation the night before on *******. When I got there, the rude lady that answered the door and I asked about our room. She looked it up and couldn't find our reservation. I gave her the reservation number from ******* and their partner site said Reconciled - Reservation Cancelled. She had no idea so called her bookkeeper. Of course, they didn't have that room so I had to pay $45 for the next size room. The owner, who is 8 time zones away, literally, was the only one in their system at the time the reservation was cancelled. I spoke with ******* and they didn't cancel it. I think they cancelled because they oversold the room. The whole process was VERY, VERY SHADY. I asked for the owner's phone but she wouldn't give it to me and said even if I called, it wouldn't do any good. The lady asked me how I knew their address; I told her it was on the ******* reservation confirmation. She said they don't give out the address. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room was just like the pictures but you don’t know the scale. My wife slept on the far side of the bed and had to crawl out on her hands and knees to go the the bathroom at night. If there had been 3 people in the room you would have to pull the dining room table out for the 3rd person to sit. The mattress was rock hard and bad for her hips and shoulders. We only used the room to sleep because we were in the park all day but I cannot recommend this room to anyone. They have several other choices and I would definitely recommend try the others out. The room was extremely clean and neat and just what you would hope for but the ceiling slope is just not made for 2 adults.

The directions were a little confusing to find the place & we were surprised how narrow the driveway was, but they had a lot of snow to deal with. Once inside we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The price was affordable. The staff was very friendly & helpful. It was relaxing & just what we were looking for. We would like to go back again. :)

The room was very clean and spacious. We were pleasantly surprised with all the kitchen amenities. And the collection of books about Yellowstone and Tetons. The outside of the building is less than appealing. Gave us a bad first impression but overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The room was Very clean and we felt like we got a great value.
