Nice, neat, large room with terrace, friendly staff and delicious food. Friendly welcome, small swimming pool with plenty of opportunity to lie in the shade or sun. Possibility to take a horse ride and other sports are offered. Beautiful, almost deserted beach. The road to the lodge is a long gravel road.

We almost wanted to cancel the planned stopover on our 3-week South Africa tour because it is not in the town of Oysterbay. It is good that we stuck with it. Debbie's warm welcome showed us that we are in the right place. Even if the access is a bit challenging, every meter is worth it. The entire team, including the owner, who visits his lodge every day, impresses with their friendliness, helpfulness and attentiveness to guests. You almost have the feeling that they read your wishes from your eyes. The varied activity program ensures fun and entertainment. The excellent breakfast (you can choose two courses from the well-stocked breakfast menu) is the perfect start to the day. Only the dinner, if you really need a point of criticism, could be a little better - but that does not detract from the enjoyment and pleasure of being a guest there. We leave paradise after two nights with a little sadness... Thank you for this excellent hospitality

Lovely lodge - good Food - great beach - good horses for riding. We have been there for 3 days. Only the invasion of a big group of 14 people at the last day (they were loud and unpolite) was a little problembut i can recommand Oyster bay lodge ufthere is no mass tourismus of a german group....

We spent 2 nights at the lodge as a family and were accommodated in a chalet that was about 5 minutes' walk from the main building. Our chalet was not the most modern, but was still lovingly furnished and clean. The staff is super friendly and the food is of top quality. There is a set menu for dinner, but adjus**ents can be made, especially for the kids, if these are communicated in good time. The location is simply a dream; you can be on the beautiful, endless private beach in about 10 minutes. There are more than enough activities on offer (we went horse riding, sandboarding and beach buggies). We felt very comfortable, which was due not only to the location but also to the very friendly staff (Amanda).

I don’t have enough words to thank Debbie, Etienne and team for going out of their way to make sure I had a place to stay, even though they were fully booked. I had a booking at Oyster Bay Nature Retreat in town just to find on arrival that there were other people staying. The owner of Oyster Bay Nature Retreat had his friends staying there but still took our money. Oyster Bay Lodge is a piece of heaven… BEAUTIFUL beach, peaceful… a place where you can escape from the city and find yourself. Amazing food prepared by Chef Chad, friendly staff… what more can you ask for? Thank you again for making my stay so special!

The trip was wonderful. The food was divine and it was indeed a great outing. The beach was from Osyter Bay to Oyster Resort was an experience to me. Osyter Bay willl be a honeymoon area for the newly weds and also if you want to have a genuinie Bonding and unwinding from business of life. I would go again at Oyster Lodge and reconnect with my creator. Cladious Nhawu

Beautiful situation with very friendly staff. The food was delicious. Great place to relax. Beach and dune safari great fun. Beautifully equipped chalet and lovely pool. Dirt road only suitable for 4 x 4

Miles on a bumpy track, huge farms…. We didn't know what to expect!… What a magnificent discovery! Very warm welcome. Superb rooms with every comfort. The table d’hôte meal was excellent with a dish of sprinbock fillet cooked to perfection on an artichoke and vegetable puree, simply sublime! Good breakfast 20 minutes walk in untouched nature to this breathtaking beach! Don't let your GPS fool you..... if you are arriving from the west (Knysna, Plettenberg) take the Humansdrop exit and R330. Much easier and less bumpy tracks

The staff was super helpfull All the meals was super good and tasty and a variety to choose from. Being close to the beach and the beach walk was great. The different walking paths are well laid out. It's a lovely quiet place and lovely with all the outdoor activities.
