Mooie nette grote kamer met terras, vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten. Vriendelijke ontvangst, klein zwembad met voldoende mogelijkheid om in de schaduw of zon te liggen. Mogelijkheid om een rit te paard te maken en andere sporten worden aangeboden. Prachtig, bijna verlaten strand . De weg naar de lodge is een lange gravelweg.

Wir wollten den geplanten Zwischenstopp auf unserer 3-wöchigen Südafrikarundreise schon fast absagen, weil's nicht im Ort Oysterbay ist. Gut, dass wir dabei geblieben sind. Schon das herzliche Willkommen von Debbie hat uns gezeigt - hier sind wir richtig. Ist auch die Zufahrt etwas herausfordernd, so zahlt sich jeder Meter aus. Das gesamte Team inkl. des Besitzers, der jeden Tag seine Lodge besucht besticht durch Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und Achtsamkeit den Gäste gegenüber. Man hat fast das Gefühl sie lesen einem die Wünsche von den Augen ab. Das vielfältige Aktivitätenprogramm sorgt für Spaß und Kurzweile. Das hervorragende Frühstück (man kann zwei Gänge aus der gutsortierten Frühstückskarte wählen) lässt den Tag perfekt beginnen. Lediglich beim Dinner gibt es, wenn man unbedingt einen Kritikpunkt braucht etwas Luft nach oben - Das tut aber dem Genuss und Vergnügen dort Gast zu sein keinen Abbruch. Mit etwas Wehmut verlassen wir das Paradies nach zwei Nächten ... Danke für diese exzellente Gastfreundschaft

Lovely lodge - good Food - great beach - good horses for riding. We have been there for 3 days. Only the invasion of a big group of 14 people at the last day (they were loud and unpolite) was a little problembut i can recommand Oyster bay lodge ufthere is no mass tourismus of a german group....

Wir verbrachten als Familie 2 Nächte auf der Lodge und waren in einem Chalet untergebracht, das ca. 5 Gehminuten vom Haupthaus entfernt war. Unser Chalet war zwar nicht mehr top modern, aber dennoch liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber. Das Personal ist super freundlich, Essen qualitativ top. Zum Abendessen gibt es ein festes Menü, dabei kann man insbesondere für die Kids Anpassungen vornehmen, wenn diese rechtzeitig kommuniziert werden. Die Lage ist einfach ein Traum, man ist in ca. 10 Minuten am wunderschönen endlos langen Privatstrand. Angebot an Aktivitäten gibt es mehr als ausreichend (wir machten Reiten, Sandboarding und Strand-Buggie). Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt, was neben der Lage auch auf das sehr freundliche Personal zurückzuführen war (Amanda).

I don’t have enough words to thank Debbie, Etienne and team for going out of their way to make sure I had a place to stay, even though they were fully booked. I had a booking at Oyster Bay Nature Retreat in town just to find on arrival that there were other people staying. The owner of Oyster Bay Nature Retreat had his friends staying there but still took our money. Oyster Bay Lodge is a piece of heaven… BEAUTIFUL beach, peaceful… a place where you can escape from the city and find yourself. Amazing food prepared by Chef Chad, friendly staff… what more can you ask for? Thank you again for making my stay so special!

The trip was wonderful. The food was divine and it was indeed a great outing. The beach was from Osyter Bay to Oyster Resort was an experience to me. Osyter Bay willl be a honeymoon area for the newly weds and also if you want to have a genuinie Bonding and unwinding from business of life. I would go again at Oyster Lodge and reconnect with my creator. Cladious Nhawu

Beautiful situation with very friendly staff. The food was delicious. Great place to relax. Beach and dune safari great fun. Beautifully equipped chalet and lovely pool. Dirt road only suitable for 4 x 4

Des kilomètres sur une piste cahoteuse, d’immenses exploitations fermières…. Nous ne savions pas à quoi nous attendre!… Quelle magnifique découverte! Accueil très chaleureux. Superbes chambres avec tout le confort. Le repas table d’hôte était excellent avec comme plat un filet de sprinbock cuit à perfection sur une purée à l’artichaut et petits légumes, tout simplement sublime! Bon petit déjeuner 20 minutes de marche dans une nature intacte jusqu’à cette époustouflante plage! Ne vous laisser pas leurrer par votre GPS….. si vous arriver de l’ouest ( Knysna, Plettenberg) prendre la sortie de Humansdrop et R330. Beaucoup plus facile et moins de pistes cahoteuses

The staff was super helpfull All the meals was super good and tasty and a variety to choose from. Being close to the beach and the beach walk was great. The different walking paths are well laid out. It's a lovely quiet place and lovely with all the outdoor activities.
