Lovley little motel. Friendly staff, so obliging. Well worth the reasonable tariff. Not too far from town.We were able to properly dispose of our recycling rubbish.

Check in was fast and easy. Staff were great and gave some good tips for food options. This is a older property but it is maintained well. It’s just on the edge of town so if it’s raining it might not be a walk to town option.

If the bed hadn't been so extremely soft and there hadn't been so much glowing technology in the room, I would have given it full stars. Very well equipped, kitchen, living room and bathroom. There was even an electric blanket in the bed. There are soaps and shampoo. There was also an iron and ironing board. Laundry facilities are inexpensive.

We stayed here for a night during a recent South Island road trip. We had a one bedroom unit. The king sized bed was in the lounge, and two single beds in the bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with a full sized stove and fridge/freezer, and there was a dining table and chairs in the lounge area. The towels were a nice large size. The bed was very comfortable. We had a very comfortable stay in a well appointed unit with plenty of room.

While the unit is in the process of being refurbished, the bathroom accessories, towels, sheets and kitchen contents were excellent. The shower had great water pressure and was nice and hot. The unit was spotless and quiet. We're coming back!
