"A great stay. There is a combination of mod cons and nostalgia. Beautiful art with a diverse range of artifacts and antiques throughout the house, and in the themed bedrooms. Very comfortable bed, great shower and plenty of room to relax in different environments, inside and out. Excellent breakfast. This property is a real treasure."

"I came in late spring and early summer. The starry sky is beautiful during this season. We drove from the mountain to our accommodation, and the starry sky was even more beautiful in the light-pollution-free environment. There were some lights in the hotel, but we could still see a nice starry sky."

"I arrived on my motorbike, and was able to park it securely on-site, rather than outside on the road-side or at the rear in the back carpark. I have stayed here 4 other times, and this time it was obvious the improvements that have been made. The private rooms have had changes made which now include a little deck as well as self-contained shower and toilet. The kitchen is clean and tidy & recycling bins are available for guests use. The dorm I stayed in was clean and comfortable with adequate power outlets for everyone to recharge electronic devices etc. The bed was also very comfortable, and the shared bathroom facilites were close by. The gardens look amazing, and it is only a short stroll to the supermarket and township (under 10 minutes) The lady owner was very helpful and chatty. Towels are available fr a small charge ($2.00 as at Feb 2025) which are thick, thirsty and soft. Happily recommend to other travellers. I will definitely be back 🙂"

"Clean, cheap and spacious rooms to pack for multi day tramp. Not expecting the two bed rooms, massive TV and kitchen facilities in our apartment which made our packing and final planning for the Old Ghost Road trail easy."

"Basic accommodation that ticks all the boxes, comfortable bed, nice hot shower, decent sized TV with SkyTV and well appointed kitchen for a cooked dinner and breakfast. 5 minutes walk to NewWorld and town."

"Strange have to go to another hotel to contact reception. No phones to call reception. Not even Do Not Disturb signs. Many of the rooms are worse than others. Cooking smells. All towels should be white instead of hand towels ragged blue ones."
