Bella Vista Motel Westport

Extremely well maintained property. Older style but really well looked after and really well appointed. Sky TV, great recycling, the room had every item you could ever want in a motel room. Only a couple of minutes walk downtown for supermarket, shopping and restaurants. Owners also lovely to talk to and very helpful.

Stay here for one night, smelled musty/mildew. TV was awesome as it was a smart TV...thats a positive. My children and I have been displaced for months, moving from hotel to hotel until insurance makes a decision on what they are going to do and when. My kitten had been injured by a tom cat (my cat is fixed, registered, and microchipped) she allowed us to have our kitten outside in an animal crate, which we were really grateful for.....when we left she complained thst there were fleas in the bed. So I went to the vets (who defleas my kitten) and got a letter from them stating that my kitten is deflead and when they have deflead her...shes not due for her next deflea treatment for 2 1/2 weeks. Why say such nasty things....the cleaners there were quite strange and would just stand there and stare at us....very uncomfortable place if you don't look like you have money. Will post proof of vet letter if the owner decides to reply. Very rude cleaners, very judgemental owner.

This hostel is in an old house that looks beautiful. The owner is very nice and helpful. They have two cats on the premises which are seriously cute! The hostel is nice, clean and very cosy! I loved the vibe it was giving off! I would highly recommend that you stay here if you are in Westport!
Westport Spa Motel

Absolutely Perfect Stay here at the Westport Spa Motel. Usually stay across the Road at the Asure Motel, or a the Buller Bridge, but decided to give these a guys a try on my latest visit to Buller. Check In is next door at the Buller Court Motel, literally a 20sec walk. The Lady at Reception was super friendly and gave me some awesome dinner recommendations. Good Solid West Coast Hospitality. Heaps of parking along the front of the rooms. My Executive Spa Studio, located upstairs, was very tastefully decorated and fastidiously clean. Nice big Corner Spa Bath in the Bathroom. Lovely balcony with outside seating through the Ranchslider. Little Kitchenette with all the guff you'd need to cook a small meal/breakfast. Bed was comfortable, with good quality, clean Linen. TV with the 50+ Sky TV channels. Just after unloading the car, I had a knock on the door and was handed Fresh Milk in a Glass Bottle, and a couple of pieces of Fresh out of the Oven, Homemade Shortbread. It was still warm! And absolutely melted in the mouth. There were some nice little touches, like the Fresh Bikkies and Milk, a Bottle of Bubble Stuff for the Bath. Also their laundry facilities were free of charge which is a rare thing with many of the accommodation providers I have stayed at. Guests have the option to put a small donation in the pot for the Local SPCA. Which I completely forgot to do! I will be sure to make a double donation on my next visit :) But having the opportunity to do laundry after many days on the road, was very appreciated. Located on the main Palmerston Street, but the road noise didn't bother me at all. Also didn't hear anything of my neighbour's right next door. Quick walk/drive down the road to the Fresh Choice or New World Supermarkets. My only complaint would be the lack of a shower curtain in the bathroom. Despite my best efforts, the water got EVERYWHERE. And it took time and a lot of towels to mop up the water. It seemed odd not to have one. At $140.00 for the night, the Westport Spa Motel offers incredible value for money. Friendly West Coast Hospitality, clean and comfy rooms, and a decent quiet sleep. Couldn't ask for more. Will definitely be back! :)
Buller Bridge Motel

I arrived at the Buller Bridge Motel completely exhausted after biking the Old Ghost Road. The motelier was very friendly and welcoming and the room was spotless with everything I needed, including a lovely hot shower. It was an easy trip into town to get some takeaways, a quick meal in front of the tv and then I had an excellent sleep in the large comfortable bed.
