Brookvale Bed & Breakfast

After a long delay Pauline waited up tii 1.30am!! Spotless, lovely room with our dog, lovely decor, half hr to ferry, 10 mins from n25, would definitely stay again

I had a wonderful stay at Brookvale B&B. Pauline was warm and friendly and I really enjoyed the tea and delicious cake when I first arrived. The room was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was great. There were also special touches such as cleanser, cotton pads and toothpaste. The kitchenette was really handy and included a microwave and fridge. The location was peaceful and relaxing and very close to many beaches and the beautiful Tintern Abbey. I would highly recommend Brookvale B&B and look forward to returning.

This was our first stop in Ireland! Pauline was amazing and treated us like family. The accommodations, property and breakfast were great!! Max and Penny where also very nice greeters!!! Definitely would recommend!

Pauline was so warm welcoming and hospitable during our 2 nights stay with her. She even drove us to the wedding venue and nothing was too much trouble for her . The bedroom was so cosy with a very comfortable bed and tea/coffee bathrobes and slippers provided if needed. The breakfast was better than any 5 star hotel. Pauline provided a gorgeous bowl of fresh fruit with warmed pears every morning along with a breakfast menu you could choose from and she also served us fresh tea brack brown breads and muffins . She has a beautiful garden with plenty of parking spaces . We really loved our stay with Pauline and would highly recommend it . We would definitely stay there again .

We have just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at Brookvale and it was the best bed & breakfast we have stayed in.Pauline & Chris are so welcoming from bringing is tea & gorgeous carrot cake on arrival & giving us ideas of sights to see.Our room was fabulous it had everything & more that you could ask for.Breakfast each morning was gorgeous!We will definitely be back.

We had spent a weekend in Brookvale before and were so pleased that we stayed again. It is perfect for couples, the rooms and bed were lovely and comfortable. The bathroom our room had was very grand in my opinion, but my wife was really into it and its "thoughtful touches", I think to do with the mirror and some kinda makeup thing. We were very pleased to get some great local advice from our hostess. I thought we were steered towards things we wouldn't necessarily have discovered ourselves but that we enjoyed. I thought there was the perfect balance (for my taste) of being helpful and welcoming and also providing us our space to feel at home by leaving us alone. I should stay that we were the only guests for one night, which is great if you can get it, because the guest sitting room is so lovely to enjoy while the stove is lit during inclement weather and you read a book or whatever. It is particularly extra nice when you know that you have it to yourself. The breakfast provided was really delicious, there are vegetarian options. The baked goods were a special treat. Everything was served punctually during our stay. You select from a menu the evening before and choose a time for breakfast, within a specified range. If staying in this B&B, you will 100% need to be travelling by car. If you are in an EV: the area is definitely doable, but you'll want to plan your journeys around the chargers on googlemaps.

We had a truly exceptional stay at Brookvale with Pauline. From the moment we arrived, it felt incredibly warm and welcoming — the roaring fireplace, the thoughtful touches, and one of the most impressive breakfast spreads we’ve ever seen, complete with delicious home baking. We travelled with our dog, who can sometimes be a little nervous in new places, but she relaxed almost instantly, happily curling up by the fire. Pauline’s kindness (and perhaps a few well-timed treats!) certainly helped. Pauline also provided fantastic recommendations for local walks and places to eat, which really enhanced our visit. The location is ideal if you’re travelling to or from Rosslare by ferry, making it both convenient and comfortable. We’ll definitely be returning and can’t recommend Brookvale highly enough.

Had a fantastic overnight stay at Brookvale, Pauline and Chris were so welcoming. The room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast set us up for the day. Recommended route westwards along the coast was also spot on. Great location pre/post ferry crossing.

Brookvale is a lovely and very homely place and the reception from the hosts was warm and welcoming. The facilities and accommodation are excellent and I will be very happy to stay here again and to recommend it to others as being first-class.
