"This was our third time staying in these self-catering apartments, and once again everything was just perfect. The location is unbeatable,close to everything you need while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. The apartment itself is a great size, with plenty of space to unwind, and it’s always spotlessly clean. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the place. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay."

"It was okay. I stayed here for one night while stopping over on my way to see the puffins. It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, but you have to cross a long bridge. The downsides were that the room was a bit damp, and the decor was a bit depressing."

The place was spotless, it has a well catered kitchen, ample parking, fresh flowers on all tables. The rooms were neat, with comfortable mattresses and fresh everything. "Was a lovely venue. Nice room. Clean. Nice staff. Unfortunately I was staying over the weekend. Had noted that there was live music, this was lovely but thought after closing time this would abate. Unfortunately the live music turned to dance music and went on past 2 am . If you’re looking for a party hotel. This is the place for you. Not for families or with your elderly mam. I decided to swap hotels but had prepaid for two nights. Asked to speak to the manager ( who came on over the phone with a member of the bar staff). I politely explained we had had no sleep and were weren’t made aware music would be playing,full blast till 2 am, I asked for a partial refund, for the night we wouldn’t be staying, was told no. Disappointing."

"Just back from a 2 night stay in Amber Springs! Food was fantastic , and staff were super friendly in the restaurant. Kids amenities are so good, we didn’t have to leave the hotel! The outdoor area is so nice and very secure. The only thing I could fault was the cleanliness of the hotel, the mattresses were heavily stained with urine and so were the duvets. The couch in the hotel bedroom also smelt of urine. I know this is half expected in a family hotel but for the price the hotel charged it is no excuse. There was food marks on the wall and the babies cot was also quite dirty, I had to clean it down twice to try get food off the cot. The room and hotel could do with a deep clean, even the chairs in the lobby and restaurant had stains on that could easily be wiped. €4.70 for a cappuccino in hotel lobby. The swimming pool area and changing area is also a bit run down and the shower curtains were dirty and rusty. The lifeguard also ignored kids diving in and jumping in and my daughter got hit twice, parents are more responsible for this but lifeguard should enforce the rules of the pool. Overall great hotel for kids and lovely staff but room for improvement for cleanliness , especially for the price being charged."

"We stayed here on a golf trip to Bunclody GC. Excellent accommodation in the centre of the town and walking distance to the Golf Club. Restaurants and pubs right next door. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. All accessories were available. Martina was so friendly and helpful with all our requests. Highly recommend this as a location for golf trips or just touring the locality which has beautiful scenery and great history. Easy to get there from any part of the country and on the main road to/from Rosslare. Go visit - you won’t regret it. Vincent"

"One of the two most positive B&B experiences we had during our extended Ireland vacation! Our children found the garden enchanted and enjoyed petting the kittens outdoors. Noreen serves a great breakfast with lots of options, and she gave us lots of recommendattions of where we could walk and eat in the area. Her husband keeps the grounds and the house in great shape. Close to the National Park and 11 minutes from the Irish Sea."

Our host Agnes was very knowledgeable about things to do, places to see, etc. One of the highlights being Altamont gardens nearby. 10/10 would recommend Monkey Puzzle to anyone visiting the area."

"Beautiful setting but basic accommodation.  Overall I wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return based on the room we had. Our family room was a little dark with one window that could only be opened a few cms. The room was very warm and stuffy due to the warm weather and there was no air con or fans, just a recommendation to keep the curtains closed during the day. The room was missing a lot that I’d expect as standard in a good 4 star, no robes, no coffee machine, no conditioner.  We ate at the bar twice, the first time was really awful and not as described. I ordered a duck wrap, it came drenched in gravy and the flavour was awful. My husband had ordered oriental fish tacos, no Asian flavours at all, just fish and mayo. Out of necessity we ate there again and we had a nice burger and scampi so I don’t know if it was the order or the chef. On the plus side the spa facilities are nice and generally all the staff were very helpful and friendly."
