The Sherborne

This was such a pleasant place to stay on our trip to Weymouth. From the hosts Teresa and Richard’s warm, friendly welcome and their second to none knowledge about T. E Lawrence. The hotel was themed tastefully and so interesting.. we stayed in Room 3 which was huge and inviting. All our needs were taken care of. The lounge with its decor and sea view (with balcony) was perfect for a sun downer and a chat with other guests. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious. This is our hotel choice for future trips to Weymouth. We suggest it’s yours too Thanks stu and Lucy

Excellent hosts, stylishly furnished 1920s history/ homage to TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). Walking distance from trains, all activities. Opposite beach. Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms. Hearty breakfast. Bijou/special.

We have just had a wonderful stay, the hotel is lovely and very clean. Great breakfast, and the hosts are lovely, friendly, and welcoming. location is opposite the beach. exceptional value for money paid. have stayed at others on Weymouth Beach front, but this is the best. Will be booking again.

One of the worst experiences of my life. Went with my husband for a scooter event, only to be lectured about past guests that have stayed, and to hear the owner bad mouth them. Hygiene was not at the top of his priority, especially his personal hygiene. You have to be back in the hotel by a certain time, as you will be lectured about coming back late, and made to feel like a child being shunned. This is not what you want to happen while on a weekend away, yet friends of ours stayed 3 minute walk away, and had a far better and professional experience then we did. Breakfast was from 8-30 am but got told to come back at 9 to then be told the kitchen shuts at 9:30 am for hot food ,very unprofessional and know way to run a business if you want a nice weekend away do not stay there
