ONE88 On Commerce exceed all our expeditions. It started from our first contact when we phoned to make our reservation, Malcolm was very obliging to meet our special requests E.G. Being disabled our request was for a ground level 1 bedroom unit with walk-in shower with shower seat. Malcolm then asked if we wished a super king bed or two super king singles. Instant confirmation by e-mail was in our inbox before we even hung up the phone. At the time of checking in a welcome smile was appreciated. Malcolm then showed us to our unit and took time to show us how to work the TV and heat pump, WI-FI etc. The unit was spotlessly clean, spacious rooms and quiet with everything to make our stay perfect, even asking if we wished full milk or light milk. The bed, pillows and sheets would be one of the best we have slept in and that is comparing it with some of the world’s best accommodation. Bathrooms are an important part of our stay, fabulous shower, luxury towels, large selection of complimentary NZ toiletries. Working in the travel industry for some 33 years I am very demanding and critical when it comes to accommodation, Liz and Malcolm’s eye for detail meet all my expectations. There is so much more I could say but do not wish to take away your surprise at the time you check-in and experience what One88 on Commerce has waiting for you. P.S. Best value for money in town. We stayed at this motel for 2 nights over the xmas period. The managers/hosts are an absolutely lovely couple, who are friendly, courteous, informative, (the man there made us laugh over milk...) funny and most importantly a very professional mannerism. Hosts are great! The accomodation quarters are so comfortable, clean, spacious, awesome to stay here! We totally enjoyed our relaxing time here and would recommend to all. The bathroom is so spacious and clean. The bed oh my goodness its ultra comfortable with crisp clean sheets. I like my beds at accomodations to have that crispiness in the sheets then I know they are super clean and fresh. I/We loved it here and will come back again for sure!!! Thank you One88 Motel.

Great Stay.

From getting greeted at reception, sorting out our booking and then taken to our room. The hosts are excellent. We had a 2 bed spa suite (nice) , I was shown the 2 bedrooms, the bathroom how to use the spa bath. Then shown the how to operate the TV with the Sky remote. Asked what type of milk we drink. I must say very impressed. Now the rooms, awesome 🤩 comfy bed, comfy pillows. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again.

One word. Excellent.

Exceptionally clean and tidy, comfortable bed and friendly reception within walking distance to town. Supermarket and various take out restaurants just around the corner. Only a short drive to Ohope beach, we ate out at the Fisherman’s wharf restaurant which was excellent
