Kimberley House

Arrived later in the evening, welcome pack was ready for us. Room was small but had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. Nice view from seating area in room and in a great location for exploring Whitby. Parking was made easy with a permit which cost £5 for the weekend. We left the car at the hotel for the weekend and walked everywhere. Would recommend this guest house, we had no problems at all during our stay.

Just had a three night stay here and we loved it. Room 5 was very comfortable, a lovely huge bed and above all spotless as was every area of the place. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and Rachel always asked if you wanted any thing else. Both her and Andrew made us feel welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return and recommend to others.

Just had a wonderful weekend at this guest house. Its location is great; the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean; the breakfasts were fab and the hosts ( Andrew & Rachel) were amazing - nothing was too much trouble for them. Can't wait to go back again - highly recommended.

Perfect location for the Whitby Pavillon . Room was spot on . Comfy bed and fab pillows Breakfast was so nice and nothing was too much trouble . Would deffo stay again . We got parked outside without much hassle. Was a fiver for the two days which was grand

We have just come back from a weekend at Kimberly house, and it was amazing. We stayed in the “budget room” which didn’t feel budget at all. It was clean, the bed and pillows were comfy, the bathroom was nice, the breakfast was amazing, and the location was just something else. The owners were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you … We are already planning our next trip back (after speaking to other guests, the are planning to do the same). It’s within walking distance to the Abbey, the views from the street are incredible. There are plenty of shops and pubs a stones throw away. I thoroughly enjoyed my 15 nights stay at Kimberley House. My single en suite room had everything that I needed and was very comfortable. I chose my breakfast each evening from the numerous menu choices and it was served pleasantly and punctually each morning. The rate charged for my B & B was very good value. I saw Andrew or Rachel or both of them at breakfast each morning. This was my second stay at Kimberley House and I will be back for my third stay to cover The George has Talent 2024 karaoke competition final on Wednesday 10th April.

Kimberley House is in a great location for a stay in Whitby. It was perfect for our weekend when there for the Supercar Saturday. We found new places to eat and drink along Skinner Street and Flowergate that we hadn’t found before and look forward to going to them again. (Botham’s bakery and Jet Black Jewel cafe bar) The self contained apartment is great and will equipped for a nice weekend away or longer if you want. We will definitely stay here again when in Whitby!!

What a lovely place. Clean and well kept. However, the owners are just amazing. We stayed in the family room in the loft was spacious and very clean n warm. Person in our party too ill n was taken to hospital. Rachel (owner) could not have been more helpful and kind. Over and above to help us all. Breakfast amazing. 5 star rating we'd give it. Such value for money, too. DEFINITELY going back there.

You always worry when you return to a place that you have given top marks before! Would it be as good? Pleased to report that it was better! The guest house is in a superb location and is immaculately clean. The lovely couple who run it, go the extra mile. The piece de resistance is the breakfast you choose the night before. I had the full English on the first morning and then wonderful Whitby kippers on the second.
