Andrew and Rachel are the perfect hosts. The room was lovely, beautifully set out and extremely clean. Just got back from the Northern Soul Weekend and we’ve rebooked for next year. The breakfast is fantastic, such a lot of choice. Thank you for a wonderful stay Andrew and Rachel. See you next year. Colin and Sue xx

A very warm and welcoming stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. I recommend breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble, cooked to your liking and very delicious. We would definitely like to stay here again

Been to kimberley house before but this time Andrew offered us the apartment. It was excellent. Well equipped kitchen, fridge freezer full ckr, dining table, lounge area, nice bathroom and two bedrooms. All very clean as usual with separate entrance to the hotel. Only 2 of us but ideal for family

Was a bit cold in room (only 1 small radiator for large room 8) plus no heating in bathroom, everything else was ok, did not see hosts but that wasn’t a problem because they give us all the information we needed beforehand, and a welcome pack was provided on arrival which gave all the information about parking etc .

We stayed in a standard double room as a couple. It was so clean and spotless! The bed was comfortable and the pillows were lovely. The location is convenient just a short 10 minute walk into the main part of Whitby and this makes it such a good value for money! Would highly recommend and we will most likely return! Thank you :)

Rachel & Andrew are very friendly & made us feel right at home. Our room was very clean & tidy, with a sea view from the bay window (to the left). The bed was very comfortable. The dining room has a very homely atmosphere, there was a good selection of cereals with fresh fruits & yogurt. Our breakfast was cooked fresh & served hot, which tasted as good as it looked. As for the location, it is a 10 minutes walk from the train station, 5 minutes from the beach & harbour with everything you need within walking distance. This is definitely our No 1 place to stay in Whitby
