Beautiful and unusual historic property surrounded by the modern town centre. Very tidy and well kept. Family room was exactly what we required.

Lovely house and friendly. We stayed in the comfort room and it had all we needed. We stayed 1 night and it was big enough for us even with all our motorbike gear. Really clean.

Had a lovely stay (5 nights) at the Old Rectory. Room was spotless, quiet and had a very safe feel. Was visiting friends and family in the area so the location was perfect particularly as the metro to Newcastle railway station is so close. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay. Room was immaculate. Such a friendly place. The chap that welcomed us was really friendly and helpful. Beautiful building. Bathroom was spacious and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. Fantastic value for the price. Can't wait to return!! 5*

Room OK but no where to hang damp towels after using the communal shower. Had to use the chair back. At night there is no light on landing when going to communal bathroom so had to walk between my room and bathroom in the dark.
