The greeting we received upon arriving was the power is out for miles and there are no refunds.

This hotel is really the best location! Away from the choas but close enough to drive to busy attractions and boardwalk. We always love the relaxing atmosphere 😌 room was a little disappointing but will be there again next year

Upon arrival to our room the silverware in the kitchenette had food caked on it, the cups in cabinet had hair and bugs in it. The couch cushions where stained with stuck on food. The two room suite only had air conditioning in the living room so you couldn’t shut the bedroom door and the bathroom was in the bedroom. Light fixtures were rusted, and I had to go buy a broom to sweep the living room floor

It’s a bit weird that there is only one parking per room. Especially if you pay for a room with two beds and a sofa bed.

Good location and close to the beach. The room was an absolute dump. Tiny, with a dirty kitchenette And two full beds in the other part of the efficiency. It did have a working fridge, microwave. But appliances were dirty with some endemic flies. Door to outside had an unreliable lock. Fortunately nothing was stolen.

Coliseum Ocean Resort is a hidden gem. It is right on the beach and is under new ownership who is in the process of making some nice upgrades. The place was very clean and the staff were extremely pleasant. Good suggestions for restaurants, but we cooked in. Every thing we needed was there. We would go again.

Everything was great the room was clean,staff was great it was an amazing place to stay at. I will definitely stay there again.

None we were very disappointed in the place as we stayed there last years two family’s two separate suites ,what a difference in one year .we will never go back ,we don’t recommend this place to anyone

It was extremely close to the beach, just didn’t like that when we came in there was a ton of sand in the room, but overall was a great time

I’m not a picky person. This stay was so bad we left and rented another hotel on our last night. The staff were all friendly. I would have given them a higher review, but they let guests block the stairs to get to and from our room. They let guests play loud music past the quiet hours. The place had sand all over the floor before we checked in. The place is dated with rusty appliances and chipped paint. Which I would over look. This is a hotel is for people with kids that want to sit outside their hotel making a bunch of noise. I recommend the crusader motel instead.

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Only complaint was the tile in the bedroom. Dirt was ground into the crevices of the tile so the floor was dirty. Would suggest mopping instead of just sweeping.

The room is what I was not expecting. Pictures on the website way different from what we had. Kitchen and bathroom needs to be upgraded. Uncomfortable beds without headboards. We can’t fit all at the Tiny table, so we ate partially. Sofa in the living room might be replaced. The main point that it is on the beach. So we didn’t walk far. Beautiful view from the balcony. Grill saved our dinners. Sweet and nice staff

Do. Not. Stay. Here. The hotel was completing renovations while we stayed and thankfully we stayed in a room that was clean and updated. However, we went out the night we checked in to walk on the beach. When we got back, we found our room key wouldn’t work. We tried to just lightly push on the door as a last ditch effort and found that the door just completely opened. We looked at the door frame and found there was NO LATCH for the door to lock into. The door didn’t even shut properly and the office was closed to even mention it to anyone. We had to barricade the door in order to feel safe to sleep there last night. When we brought it up to the hotel, they gaslit us and said that the door did lock electronically and could only be accessed by a room key. 1- the room key didn’t work. 2- the door didn’t even close or have a latch to secure the door. Do. Not. Stay. Here. They don’t care about your safety and don’t care if their rooms actually close or not. Pictures below for proof of door not being able to shut
