LionsDive Beach Resort

"GREAT LOCATION". We were there from April 23 - 27, 2024. 30 minutes and 45 dollar taxi trip from the airport. Easy to get around the resort, three other resorts nearby. Food: Breakfast Buffet at Hemingway, American breakfast with Egg and Pancake station. Hope they had more fruit options. Good options for lunch and dinner. You can either pay in Netherlands guilder or USD. Pool: 50 meter pool was great, never crowded. Beach was also neat and well kept. No Lifeguard on site, if you are not a swimmer watch out. The bar next to the pool was only open after 4PM, it was kind of inconvenient to walk down to the beach just for a drink when you are having great time at the pool. The only bar was all the way down by the beach or at the Hemingway restaurant. There was also no shower stations close to the Beach. Kids did first time snorkeling at the resort, staff at the resort were really helpful and guided my kids all the way. They had a great time, Kuddos to the Snorkeling and Diving team at the resort. GREAT THING ABOUT THE RESORT - Right next to Mambo Beach BLVD. Plenty of restaurants and stores on the *****. We ate at the Boca Argentinian, Mexican and Pizza restaurant and all had pretty good food options. Did a trip to Willemstad, $20 taxi ride. We had great time, if you are looking for a calm and quiet place to relax, Lions Dive is the place to be. will definitely return!

Overall very average. A very nice, spacious 1 bedroom suite and excellent beach area. But service was generally not great, on-site restaurants average, and the Mambo beach area is noisy at night.

Great location, amazing beach views, relaxing atmosphere. This location is great as everything is a short walk away, shops, restaurants and nigh life. There is something to do for everyone. Its safe, secure and the staff is very attentive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel for families, couples and singles. They have entertainment throughout the evening.

What a great stay at the Lions Dive for our first time travels to Curacao! The taxi ride from the airport was about 20mins. Check-in at the hotel was easy and fast; thankfully, our room was ready. We had booked an "Ocean View" room. It was a very clean, modern room with all of the usual amenities. The bonus touches: our very own reusable Lions Dive water bottles and beach tote bag! The view was beautiful, the balcony a little small and narrow (we were the end room). Not docking the hotel on it but it did make coming in and out of the balcony a little tricky. Love that we can drink the tap water! The hotel has many water filling stations throughout as well as ice machines - you will definitely need this to stay hydrated in the hot Curacao sun. We did not add any meal plans to our stay as we came prepared with breakfast food from home but did eat out for lunch and dinner. There is a mini fridge and kettle in the room. We rented a car for a couple of days and bought some extra breakfast items/snacks from one of the near by grocery stores. If you don't have a car, there is a free shuttle that will bring you back and forth to the grocery store. The room also had a coffee machine and the coffee pods were stocked daily. We ate at Hemingways and Chill for a few dinners - both excellent. We also took advantage of the "Happy Hours" throughout the week! Heavily discounted beer, wine and mixed drinks. The hotel is perfectly situated on Mambo Beach. Clear, calm beautiful water. We snorkelled nearly every day. The beach and grounds of the hotel are well maintained. Good selection of beach chairs. We swam daily at the regular pool. It was quiet there - most would take a plunge, stay for a bit and then head back to the beach or elsewhere. We saw the Olympic sized pool but did not go in. There is what seems to be a little wading area of very shallow water beside the Olympic pool which is great for super young kids We also ate often at the near Mambo Beach complex - never had a bad meal in the week we were there. Portions seemed on the generous side which meant leftovers for lunch for the next day! All the staff we encountered at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. As mentioned, we rented a car for a few days - parking at the resort is free. It was one of the best vacations we have taken and are looking forward to returning to the island!!!

Loved our stay at the Lion’s Dive Resort. Our room was very nice with beach front view. Very clean and roomy. Loved that there were cats on the premises. I love cats, we have three rescued cats.

Great quiet resort for families or couples. Nice beach, delicious restaurants, clean, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff.

Marvelous hotel at the beach, good services, very nice people and good restaurants especially Hemingway and Nemo. Unfortunately there were construction activities at both sites of the resort which were not pre announced. We were in building S2. That will take some time more before it will be finished.
