A estrutura comum do hotel é bacana e os funcionários são muito atenciosos. O restaurante tem boa comida e somente o café da manhã deixou a desejar (bom, mas não ótimo). O que não gostamos foi do quarto, cujas janelas não abriam, o que dava uma sensação ruim de enclausuramento e impedia que as roupas de praia secassem. Isso nos incomodou bastante. Outro ponto ruim foi que exatamente ao lado está em andamento uma obra grande, de modo que o barulho era diário (exceto final de semana), a partir de 07:15h da manhã. Também achamos ruim não ter sequer água no frigobar e um telefone no quarto, caso precisássemos de ligar na recepção para pedir algo com mais conforto. A recepção também fecha muito cedo (20h) e não abre antes de 08h, o que achamos ruim (tivemos que fazer check-out correndo na noite anterior porque sairíamos para o aeroporto bem cedo). Ao final da viagem concluímos que, de fato, esses pontos negativos pesaram bastante e não voltaríamos a nos hospedar lá. Uma pena, pois a equipe é muito gentil e amigável.

Paradise in paradise! We had so much fun and enjoyed everything. Upon arrival, the staff was kind, helpful, and accommodating, and the welcome drink was the perfect start. The room was nice, clean, and very comfortable. The pools and lounge areas were fully relaxing. Loved how the dive center, coffee shop, and streets with all of the restaurants and bars were so close and easily walkable. Absolutely had the best time and will return!

Great location, pool and restaurant. Room was dated and mattress cleanliness was questionable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Really convenient if you scuba dive, you get a discount on diving at their attached scuba facility.

The accommodation is beautiful, our room was very comfortable, fantastic views and a good location. The restaurant downstairs was good and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, as were the cleaning staff. There is very easy access into the sea and it is a short walk to some great restaurants and local sights. However, the welcome on arrival and the hotel reception did not impress, less than helpful, no welcome drink and lack of interest in providing any support. I have honestly experienced more welcoming receptions from hotels at motorway service stations. If I am lucky enough to return to Curacao, I would probably look elsewhere.

Heel fijn hotel, super vriendelijk personeel en staan altijd klaar om je te helpen. Heerlijk zwembad aan zee en het appartement was super en had alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt. Ligt op een super locatie dicht bij de stad. Mooie uitvalsbasis. Ook auto via hotel geregeld, heel fijn. Het is een prachtig hotel met authentieke details en veel geschiedenis, heel interessant. Zou het zeker aanraden aan iedereen. Mocht je de optie hebben dan zou ik wel voor de zeezicht kant kiezen, wij hadden iets meer lawaai door de drukke straat aan de voorkant van het gebouw.

We had a great time and would stay here again and recommend to anyone. We were looking for good service, and a change from the normal resorts and this was a charming place to stay and the service was great. The staff was very helpful when we needed airport transfers and even with renting a car a few days to explore. There are multiple hotels, shopping and restaurants within walking distance and the restaurant and bar at our hotel was amazing as well. It was great to relax during the day or after exploring all day as the pool and ocean access were amazing!

We were there for 10 days in March 2024 with 8 people. It was perfect. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Communication with Ghislaine was always positive and correct. Restaurant Heeren@sea with friendly service. A must do again ! Scuba Lodge Divecenter Pietermaai was top.
