2-Star Hotels in Williamsport

It is a century-old hotel, so the decoration is quite old. If you like modern style hotels, you may not like this one, but for a century-old hotel, the maintenance is pretty good and the price is also quite good.

I stayed here one night on my way to upstate New York. The hotel was a solid choice. For a domestic property they had good Platinum recognition. Breakfast was decent for a free meal but mostly what you'd expect cereal, oatmeal, fruit and some prepackaged hot options. Not awesome but ok for this level of service. There is a small amount of parking in front of the hotel for check-in but overnight parking is across the street above the bus station. We had a two bedroom suite which was a great for three of us travelling together (this was what we paid for it was not an upgrade). Overall I would hesitate to stay here again.

Clean quiet and relaxing...Big comfortable bed... Location is close to home I love it. Great breakfast only thing is they need to serve turkey or beef sausage and or bacon for the people who does not eat pork.

As IHG members we stay regularly Holiday Inns. Alas, while we like the points, we've found that not all sites are equal. THIS one is, by far, the very best we've found and is always where we stay when visiting family. As the title claims, it's ALWAYS all of those things--clean, friendly, and a great value. The breakfast area is kept well-stocked with a good variety of options, and is overseen by attentive managers (thank you, Kelly!). Our bathroom was spotless with a step-in shower that drained well and provided pump style amenities. There's a mini-fridge in each room and a Wegman's grocery store across the parking lot where you can either buy to load up your fridge, or sit and grab a quick meal. We've always wondered--how is this particular HI so much better in quality and price than others? Could it be that they host the major TV network staff who stay during Little League World Series? Perhaps. Or maybe it's just Williamsport, down to earth, attentive customer service. The one and only thing that is a challenge is limited parking, especially if you land at night on a weekend. That's when the crowds are big at the adjacent James Restaurant which shares the lot. Several guests complained while we stood in the lobby. There's overflow parking but it's not advertised or posted anywhere for guests to see (which would be helpful), We've learned to park offsite, then retrieve and repark our car after the restaurant closes.

The best sleep ever! Lovely firm mattress (you won't like it if you prefer soft). Large room, the windows open, it has Netflix, a walk-in shower, patio with BBQ that some residents were using, full kitchen with dishes, pots & pans, utensils - what's not to like? The hotel is also easy to get to. There is free parking although it is off-site. There was a manager's reception (offered for three nights out of seven, I believe). It offered beer, wine, soft drinks. We had hummus and tzatziki, pitas, kalamata olives, crudities. Breakfast was less inspiring. Another time we would go to the nearby Perkins. My only negative comment is that although we had a newly-renovated room, one of the light shades and the desk chair were already broken. How sad.

Great reception, great breakfast, great room, loved it. Didn't have time for the indoor pool or gym. Room and bathroom clean and comfortable. A place you could stay for awhile and really enjoy. ,........... ..........................!
