We renewed our marriage vows and stayed at the Du Vin for two nights in one of the garden suite rooms, which was an upgrade given on arrival. They made our stay very special by some small touches and very welcoming and friendly staff. The courtyard was perfect to finish our celebrations with guests where we chilled with a couple of drinks. We had the best day made perfect by our experience at this wonderful hotel in the heart of the city. Thank you and we will definitely be returning.

Amazing what a way to spend a birthday . Amazing staff who upgraded our room to a suite with roll top bath . Absolute luxury . Hotel is perfectly located to walk to the shops and local landmarks in the daytime and then to the bars and restaurants in the evening . Lovely quiet hotel beautifully decorated and the amazing staff are a credit to the hotel . Can not wait to come back Winchester is a lovely way to spend a few days and relax

We enjoyed the location of the hotel, being an easy walk to the High Street and various places of interest. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items. Lovely comfortable room. Staff friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Smashing little hotel 5 minute walk from Winchester Centre. Extremely friendly and helpful staff in all departments. Harvey and James at the desk the nicest people. Loved our room, very clean and large . Last minute decision to eat dinner at the hotel restaurant. We eat out a lot and can honestly say this is the best food we have had in ages, great choice, beautifully presented and delicious. Restaurant staff at dinner and breakfast are so friendly and helpful. We find at other Hotel du Vins that staff are well chosen and trained. Although my husband and I have mobility issues, we coped well with the stairs. A lot of the properties in this group are in listed historic buildings so always worth checking on this issue. Altogether an excellent and enjoyable experience.

I stayed overnight at Hotel Du Vin winchester recently after staying in their Bristol branch. Everything was perfect and I had no complaints whatsoever. Best nights sleep in ages, and the food was excellent. Lea who served us for dinner was wonderful.
