Friendly welcome on arrival. The room was lovely and big with a large four poster bed, with gorgeous white bedding. Fully equipped with kettle and selection of tea and coffee. Bathroom was clean and roomy with a bath and 2 different showers. The dogs were made welcome in all areas they thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast treat of a sausage they said they would return again. The hotel was in a perfect spot for town and a lovely walk to the lake side Look forward to returning

Really lovely stay! The rooms were a great size and very clean. Staff were friendly and attentive. Brilliant location, good car park and the breakfast was delicious! Would highly recommend! Also a lovely touch over Easter to have the chocolates!

Great location, handy for shops, pubs and restaurants. Extremely friendly staff who gave good advice on eating out at night. Lovely choice at breakfast to set you up for the day. Ample free parking on site. Use of off site spa a real plus and only 5 miles away by car. Room was clean, albeit slightly tired in places, but reflected in competitive price we paid. I would definitely stay again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Windemere Park. All of the facilities you need are accessible, the staff are welcoming/friendly and the location was perfect. A selection of continental and hot breakfast items were available. We also used the off site spa which was lovely after a long walk in the lakes. I would highly recommend.

Great location for the centre of Windermere. Just a couple minutes walk. Room tidy and clean. Bed comfortable. Excellent breakfast included. Full English, choice of fruit juices, fruit, croissants, cereals and porridge. Decore a little tired, otherwise I would have scored it a 5

A lovely hotel with all you need. Friendly pleasant and helpful staff who could not do enough for us. Breakfast was lovely made with good quality ingredients. No complaints whatsoever and we will return. Asked for a ground floor room and the staff sorted this out to accommodate us. Nothing was a problem. What a kind bunch they were!

Booked the standard family room and stayed in room 17. Room a generous size and very big bathroom. Great view from the double bed to. Smart tv in the living room which is a bonus. Would have been nice to have a curtain to split both rooms but other than that room was great. Breakfast was included and the young girl was on her own but did a great job serving everyone. Free parking is also a bonus. Very reasonably priced and will definitely stay again when next visiting

We stayed with our two children in the large family room in the attic during the February half term holidays. It was a good sized room with a double bed, sofa bed and single bed and was warm and comfortable, with the double bed separated from the rest of the room with its own TV. The bathroom was very large with a walk in shower. The carpet was rather tired (as was some of the furniture) and could probably do with replacing but it didn't impact on our stay in anyway! The staff were also really friendly and chatty and the breakfast was hot and tasty. The B&B was in a good location to visit both Bowness and Ambleside and we would definitely stay again.
