Host is kind, helpful & friendly. House was immaculately clean with beautiful gardens.
The decor is a little dated, the bed was very soft and the bedding too heavy and warm for the time of year. Breakfast offer is cereal, fruit, yoghurt & toast, tea/coffee.

初めてのwindermereでしたが、ここに泊まったおかげで素敵な旅行ができました。
女性１人旅ですが、駅からも近く、スーパーマーケットも近所にあり、全く不安を感じませんでした。
ゲストハウスですので、オーナーさんが迎えてくれますが、とても親切で穏やかな方で安心して泊まることができました。
また、オーナーさんの家族のとても可愛くて賢いportiaちゃんも一緒に出迎えてくれます。
エレベーターはないため、大きな荷物を持ち上げるには壁に当たったりしないようコツが必要です。
部屋の中は清潔で、お湯もバッチリでます。ただ、お湯のスイッチの紐が固く最初ドキドキしますので、オーナーさんと引いてみると良いかもしれません。また必ずwindermereに来たときにはここに泊まります！

Lovely place to stay bang in the centre of windermere and only a 20 minute walk downhill or a short bus ride (we never bothered but they seemed to run every 20 minutes) down to Bowness and the lake. Really nice tidy comfortable rooms with an ensuite shower and toilet. Spotlessly clean. Frank was a lovely warm and welcoming host only outweighed by the fantastic welcome by portia the dog. If I'm ever back at the lakes I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.
