Windermere Manor Hotel

Room was a good size. Plenty of parking available. Swimming pool was nice. Nice view of the lake from the gardens. Very friendly staff. Lovely food. Pleasant gardens. The lounge was relaxing with nice sofa . Some minor issues: Lack of shower pressure ， toilet wouldn't flush properly, blood stain on the floor of the toilet, took ages to get hot water through for showering

A beautiful property. Everything is very clean and location very good. Service staff also very friendly, makes you come back and order more. We took a bigger room as had luggage for comfort. Everything went well. Very close to a hike trail with nice top views of Windermere lake

Was a very enjoyable stay,friendly atmosphere very good services, amenities were good even had a dip in the pool before going out.

The breakfast was bad and made members of the party I’ll due to its poor quality. Our shower only worked every now and then which really wrecked the feeling of the holiday. In addition they had far too few staff to actually run the hotel with only enough for about 4 parties to have dinner at the hotel. Will not be heading back.

Staff were excellent, food and accommodation also excellent. Difficult to pick out from the exceptional staff but Gabriel and Laura shone. The perfect location to relax. On the edge of Windermere with some fantastic views. Good facilities for one of our disabled friends.

Had a great stay at this hotel with my family (2 adults, 2 children aged 8 and 6). We absolutely loved the swimming pool and the outdoor chess. Location was perfect next to the lakes and some stunning viewpoints. Breakfast was a great bonus and plenty of options for vegetarians/vegans. We look forward to returning in future!

After reading a few bad reviews, we are happy to say we found the hotel excellent, the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, want to give a big shout out to the young lady working in the restaurant/bar on The evening of 29.05.24, she was very bubbly, friendly, helpful and nothing was to much trouble for her, she made all the guests feel at easy and welcome, the following morning we found breakfast very nice, with a varied choice, we would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

I took my wife to this lovely hotel to celebrate her 60th birthday. After checking in, we went straight to our room, but as soon as we entered the room, we knew they had given us the Standard room, rather than the Club King we had ordered. Went back downstairs, and spoke to the most helpful Gabriel on reception. I asked him if there was availability in Superior, and I'd happily pay the difference, as my wife is unwell. He had a look on his system and said Room 35 is available from the next day, and he gave us the upgrade free, despite offer to pay. What a Godsend amd a huge thanks to Gabriel. Also, a big shout out to Marcus the GM, who arranged to have our luggage moved from the first night room, to our new room, whilst we were out on our cruise. If I'm being honest, I didn't particularly enjoy the evening meals, although the breakfasts were your normal good fayre,....but that didn't matter to us, as we ate out, and like most hotels, was there for us to bang our heads for the night and get breakfast, before heading out on our next adventure. Once again, big thank you to Marcus, Gabriel and Staff, for making us most welcome in the stunning Lake District.
