There is no bottled water in the room. The window of the room cannot be opened without a key. There is no reception. There is a surcharge of 35 pounds for non-check-out before eleven o 'clock.

Self-service check-in, the room is fully equipped and you can use the kitchenette area. The scenery outside the window is nice and a very quiet experience. It's a pity that there is no breakfast. The tea and coffee at the bar are complete.

The 3-person room is very good. Although it is an attic, it is well furnished. If it does not rain at night, you can watch the stars on the bed (with a window). The 2 writing desks are very large, which is very convenient for office and homework; The most amazing thing is: the entrance faces the lake, the scenery is super beautiful

The check-in is electronic, which is not very convenient. Ctrip didn't explain it in advance. I checked the name and negotiated it, but I checked in. I just feel that the room I was given was a temporary one, and there was no bottled water as promised. The key point is that there is no air conditioner, and there are no window screens. When the windows are opened, bugs enter. It is still very hot in June, so I can't sleep well. There is a microwave, but the forks are rusted. The location is okay, between Windermere and bowness, relatively quiet

When booking a special one-bedroom apartment in this hotel, be sure to avoid the attic room on the top floor, otherwise there will be no negotiation.

Very satisfied with the room👍I really like the loft-style top floor. There is a small window above the head, and the sun shines down during the day. On rainy days, you can see the pattering on the glass window. I really like the bathroom, it's big, clean, simple and comfortable! The rooms are fully equipped and functionally separated. However, there are no fixed service staff and it is a completely self-service apartment. If you need to go to the door and find the lady on duty, she is very nice👍

The hotel is beautifully designed and furnished The facilities are very new and comfortable to live in The rooms are larger than those in London, and the two-bedroom type can accommodate 4 people, which is very cost-effective No breakfast, there is a microwave oven, but you can buy it from the nearest supermarket and heat it up in the microwave

Room Perfect facilities and warm service

We just returned from our first staycation of the year, celebrating our engagement in the scenic Lake District. The Kotel Apartments in Bowness were absolutely stunning, from the stylish decor and interior design to the enchanting gardens. The car park had a couple of EV charging points that were always available and easy to use. We had verified with the hotel beforehand that the apartment was wheelchair accessible, and it was confirmed. There was a stunning wet room and ample space to move around the apartment. The only challenge was the entry points, which we were not informed of prior to our arrival. Despite the age and listed features of the building, I was prepared to bum shuffle over a couple of steps and overlook the barrier. Ramp access to the private gardens was available at the back, but there were still a couple of steps from the apartment itself. Although I was able to negotiate them, I recognise that not everyone could. To make it accessible for all, I think portable ramps would be ideal!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Great communication. Clean, boutique king size bedroom. If I were to be picky, I’d say the bed wasn’t too comfortable but overall I’d definitely recommend this hotel and for the price we paid for one night was fantastic.

Such a lovely place to stay and in a wonderful location

Very nice room in an impressive building. Ample car parking onsite and free on street parking nearby. Comfortable bed and nice view overlooking garden. Towel radiator was very hot and took a bit of effort to turn off as the en-suite was boiling! Full fridge provided along with a microwave and toaster, however if you eat or drink in your room there's only 1 chair. Ideal accommodation for a one or two night stay.
