Hotels Near Emmanuel Church in Winnersh

We have been staying at the Sure Hotel In Reading since March,we stay between 4 and 5 days a week. Katy and all her Colleagues work very hard to make your stay comfortable and pleasant, nothing is too much trouble. We stay in rooms with kitchenettes as I can make easy meals for when my husband comes back from work ,which is only 10 minutes drive the main reason we stay here. All the rooms have kettles fridges microwave and crockery,YOU DO NOT FIND THIS IN ANY OTHER HOTEL!! It makes our long stays much more affordable, and there is also free parking in the very large car park. The hotel is spread over 3 buildings ,so plenty of choice in different rooms and prices. Always clean linen,fluffy towels etc, some beds are different to others, so before writing negative reviews maybe ring and give your preference of what you expect and Katy and her team will do there very best to accommodate you. The bus stop is right outside the hotel on both sides of the street and it takes about 20 to 25 minutes to walk to town buses stop in various places and also right outside the train station,extremely convenient if you are traveling on with luggage. There are fans and heating in all rooms and irons and ironing boards in some rooms, if you need one it will be brought to your room. There is a launderette round the corner and many eating places around the hotel, at which some you can get a discount with you room key card, And lastly how many hotels allow you to eat your own food In there dining room!! Not many I think!!. The breakfasts always looks and smells delicious and they also have a small menu at night for guests who don't want to eat out or have takeaway. All in all,remember this is a budget hotel with many good extras ,and the best extra is the fantastic service and friendliness you recieve from everyone that works here including the hard working Housekeeping ladies and gents,always have a smile and a nice Hello in a morning when I see them starting there shifts,and I do enjoy my Chats with Katy and others on reception when they manage to have a minute or two spare,. After years supplying entertainment at this lovely local Berkshire venue for weddings & events it was nice to be guests (and a witness!) at my friend Marelise & Gerrard’s wedding here in spring. It was a perfect day in lovely surroundings, so relaxing and inviting; a special day with happy memories. The ceremony was lovely , the registrar made it feel personal we even shed a few tears. The bar man should get a mention for putting up with our banter & joining in! The staff were friendly and helpful. The dining room is amazing it has a formality but felt intimate at the same time and the afternoon tea was truly delightful and plentiful, you could’nt ask for more. The wedding brought family & friends together. We also made new friends from the celebration that day. It’s made me more proud to be a long-standing supplier of this venue! We’re looking forward to all the Christmas parties!

Clean and well lighted room. Great facilities with fitness room and multitude gaming setups. Even have a bar in the lobby. Serving great foods. All and all really enjoy the stay. Well recommended!

So.....after reading some of the reviews on here they would have you believe this is just a step up from Pontins. I was absolutely prepared for anything when we set off and even had a slight sinking feeling. I'd originally booked for one night with breakfast included because we had to come to the area for separate reason. I'd then decided to book an extra night and booked that night extremely last minute. I rang the hotel, giving them less than 24hrs, to see if it was possible. The guy that answered was extremely helpful and explained it wouldn't be a problem to pay for the extra night and on check-in it would be tagged as one booking. On arrival the receptionist couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and we checked in with absolutely no issue at all. The room was lovely, very well kept, extremely clean and I honestly couldn't find ANYTHING to complain about. Because that evening was very last minute we hadn't made any dinner plans so popped to the hotel restaurant for food. We were greeted by the ”infamous” Muhammad and his team and were seated straight away. Both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and again absolutely couldn't fault the food, the decor or the service, everything and everyone was beyond spot on. The following day we popped and used the pool facilities and again, changing rooms were clean and staff were extremely polite and helpful. My ONLY criticism (this is just MY personal preference) the temperature of the pool could have been notched up a couple of degrees, it was a wee bit chilly. We went out to a local restaurant that evening and on returning we decided to grab a coffee from the bar to take to our room. Again we were served by Muhammad who was as polite and helpful as usual and remembered us from the previous evening which was lovely. We had booked breakfast for our last morning and again with previous reviews in the back of my mind I was a bit dubious. I'll say this, if you cant find anything to feed yourself or your children at breakfast then there's something wrong with you and not the hotel. You name it and it was there, fresh fruit, pastries, cooked food, cereal, yogurt, choice of breads including bagels, choice of 4 juices...... The hot food was fresh and didn't taste like it was suffering from heat exhaustion from being sat there for hours. Again the staff were very friendly, especially the young lad who seated us (I THINK his name was Ellis, im really sorry if I've got that wrong). Checkout was fast and again we were greeted with a friendly face. We had a lovely couples weekend (doesn't happen often with an 8 year old) and that's entirely down to the hard work ALL the staff put in, not once did we feel awkward or too much trouble. We liked it so much we're planning a second stay in August for 2 nights and bringing our son for his birthday to Lego land. I'm not sure where the other reviewers stayed but it certainly wasn't the hotel we've just left and I'm sure our stay wasn't some sort

There was a mix up with the description of the hotel amenities in the app....the travelodge visited did not have a bar/restaurant also the hotel had not gone through modernisation renovations so lack of USB and mains ports

What an excellent hotel. Fabulous value for £75 a double room (upgraded free to a family room) with breakfast included in the price at £9.99 each with a comprehensive choice, buffet style and very good quality. The room was clean, spacious, the shower excellent, enough towels. The staff were welcoming and friendly - based on the first floor. Who needs second home owners offering Airbnb when you've got value like this? Parking was five minutes away in the council owned multi storey Stafferton car park (after 9 pm it's free till 9 am) but park from sixth floor as it's rail customers before that.

My daughter and I enjoyed a good stay at Travelodge Camberley! The reception was attentive and offered quick and helpful remedy to a couple of little snags, few doing our 10 day stay! A small annoying detail but important during our stay for the Queens Jubilee we was the poor quality of the tv signal!. Otherwise breakfast was great, so I recommend Travelodge without hesitation.

Excellent location, very friendly staff. Room was very clean, shower was great! Breakfast included in the stay which included a decent range of food, they also had ‘to go’ bags and cups which I thought was a nice touch! Overall perfect for a business trip!

Went to this hotel for family wedding, after reading other reviews I was not looking forward to my stay. I found the staff were friendly. The room we stayed in was clean the bed was comfy. I never heard any noise at night. The breakfast had plenty of choice. The problem we had while staying there the broken toilet seat that was not repaired. My son had booked a family room arrived with his three children at 11.30pm and found the room had one double bed and a single bed the only solution they were given was to squash two z beds into the small room because there were no other rooms,
