This place seems to exist in 1971. At least one floor features long-term tenants (including families with many small children). I had to see three rooms before we found one with working electrical outlets. I was fine with all of this -- I needed a cheap, basic place that was centrally located, and, of course, you get what you pay for. What I wasn't fine with was when, while I was working in the room and my friend was away running errands, I was notified that we had one hour to evacuate the room due to an "emergency fumigation operation." I don't even want to know what that was all about. We frantically packed up our stuff and were shown a new room -- on the floor with the families -- and said room was almost as disgusting as the first two we were shown. Even if you're on a budget, I would say just don't bother with this place.

The hotel is very old. There are many homeless people or casual people outside the hotel. The security is not good. I was woken up several times in the middle of the night by drunkenness or loud voices. It is very unsuitable to live in. The water in the bath is sometimes hot or cold, and it is not hot at all. At most, it is warm water, and most of it is cold water. The toilet flush sounded like an explosion, very loud! Will not book this hotel again in the future, not recommended.

The cleanliness could use improvement, but service was good

The hotel is a building with a sense of age, and the service staff are great. When she learned that I thought the room was very noisy, she took me to see three other rooms. I finally chose a quiet one, but, In the room, there were cockroaches. When I turned on the light, I slapped it to death. Fortunately, no other bugs were found. The room really needs to be cleaned, especially the carpet.

The hotel itself is in due need of repairs, we were met with rowdy tenants of all ages, our wild with the details that the building holds such as old timy chandlers, staircases. I would say the heart and soul of this place would be the restaurant it is just gorgeous the stained glass surrounding the restaurant along with all the other tiny details carved into the podiums. Been better for the price half of our order was burnt during lunch and breakfast was greasy.
