It was such a seamless experience for a short-term feeling home like stay. Val is such a gentle lady and really care for you as a special family member. You can find a home-made small piece of chocolate on your bed, enjoy the warmth of a cozy outdoor hot tub. See the photo.
Feel like home is what they are trying hard every day to make you that footprint in every details that you will see in this rental property. I named it a value-for-every-penny experience that was hardly to hard from anywhere in the world, but a place to feel like home managed by 2 generous & warm-hearted women.
I don’t want to write too much because probably I could not book them next time. LOL

We've have stayed at Stay549 on a couple of occasions now. Val is the hostess and she is very pleasant and helpful. We have stayed at a few 'bed & breakfasts' over the years and often come away with the feeling that the host is interested only in having others help pay off the mortgage and are not at all that concerned about those staying there. That is not the case with Stay549. Val seems to go out of her way to make sure that a stay at Stay 549 is a great experience. There are many nice touches and it seems to us that a lot of money is spent on those nice touches - beds, bathroom fixtures, fridge, kitchen facilities, phone chargers, TV's, etc. It seems the owners invest in the facility with the hopes that their inves**ent will make staying there a real pleasure. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Stay549 as a place to stay when in Winnipeg!

Pro: Very clean and organized. Shared bathroom kept spotless. Cons: No food allowed in bedrooms and "free breakfast" is actually very limited in portion size and options. Counting pieces of toast and cups of coffee seems excessive. Bathroom potentially shared between 5 guests.

Hello, Thank you for having me for a few days! I felt like my home! Everything neat, very clean, and quiet. Very nice peoples and outstanding all over. I will recommend to my friends traveling to Winnipeg, to stop by and stay at this location. Good luck!
