Wynnstay Arms, Ruabon, Wrexham

Fantastic service as always , friendly helpful staff . We went for breakfast, it was amazing . Will definitely be back . Stunning hotel , beautiful setting , spotlessly clean and all around beautiful hotel . Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

We call in for lunch once every two weeks. 3 friends just having a light lunch and a catch up. The a**osphere is so friendly….Paula our waitress now knows our order for drinks and she can,t do enough for us. Today the chef Tom outdid himself and provided a faultless deliscious lunch for us. Always a warm welcome for us….that,s why we keep going back.

The a**osphere is always welcoming and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The facilities are excellent and the venue is perfect for parties, funerals, weddings and business meetings. The food quality has always been good which is another major plus for a local venue. We have lived locally for 30 years and have patronised the hotel for that time too. Testimony in itself.

We stumbled upon this establishment by pure change and boy where we glad we did, We have stayed in some amazing places over the years and the Wynnstay Arms Ruabon is up there with the best, it really is a great place to stay and what makes it extra special is the Hospitality Team they are truly amazing and an absolute credit the Wynnstay Management and Owner, any Hospitality Business is only ever as strong as the Team that provided the front of house Service and the Wynnstay Team made our Anniversary, The Whole Team where fantastic from Ailsa who went above and beyond to make our Anniversary weekend extra Special to Paula B who looked after us at Breakfast and made us feel like one of the Family taking the time to explain the history of this fantastic building and for both Ailsa and Paula B nothing was too much trouble, the food/Evening Meals are fantastic and Breakfast is second to none, at the risk of the Hotel being sold out next time we visit I do highly recommend the Wynnstay Arms to all who are looking for something Special, congratulations Wynnstay Team you all should be very Proud of what you have accomplished 5 STARS and a Huge Thank you from Chris & Janice

What a delight it was to stay at Wynnstay Arms! My wife and I ended our six-day trip through Wales with a one-night stay in Ruabon, which stood out as the best hotel on our trip. The reception and bar/restaurant staff were polite, professional, and friendly. In particular, the two brothers were fantastic - personable, helpful, approachable and hospitable. We booked one of the four-poster bedrooms (room 7) and couldn't have been happier. It's a massive room with a standalone bathtub, a separate shower, and double sinks. We had read numerous negative reviews on Trip Advisor concerning the food at Wynnstay. Since the weather was poor and we didn't want to leave the hotel, we took a chance and were rewarded with an excellent meal. We had the 'fish & chips' and the 'salt & chilli chicken'. Both were good-sized portions, well-prepared, and really tasty. Apparently, there have been some recent changes in the kitchen and our experience was entirely positive. We hope to return!

The four poster bed room no.7 was amazing, clean and beautiful. The meal in the restaurant was very tasty. Nothing bad to say neither about the hotel nor the restaurant/pub. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were lovely and attentive.

Beautiful building, Staff are amazing and friendly. Especially Ryan! Drinks are a little on the expensive side, but the food is amazing. So well worth a visit. I haven’t stayed in the rooms, but I did over hear people saying they were nice and comfy.
