"Room was cosy and newly updated. Can plug your phone beside the bed you can sit at the vanity and plug in while you style and do your make up. A regular beer I have with hotels generally. Lovely breakfast. Fab if you’re like me who likes to eat low fat yogurts fresh fruit and juice with lemon etc. just very nice and fresh. Bar was lovely too in the evening. To boot the spa. Loved our stay"

"AVOID AVOID AVOID Absolutely disgusted arrived after a 4 hour drive to find the outside looking like a building site went inside rung the desk bell as instructed on a sheet of paper ,15 minutes later nothing nobody answered. Inside The downstairs rooms looked like a bad diy sos paint mops chemicals all left out for anybody to access. I googled the phone number and rang receiption 3 time for 15 minutes in total, only for 3 men to eventually arrived and looked at us and our dog with a What are you doing here expression . In broken english we were told to contact ***********. Hotel closed no welcome no customer service no heating no hot water no staff no food no bar and not pet friendly as advertised and shown in online photos and despite emailing them on wednesday to check. They had cancelled our booking. On reading reviews this hotel has been like this since wednesday, would have saved us the journey for them to have canceled prior to the 4 hour drive and they left us high and dry stranded at 715pm not offer of help just contact ***********. Omg *********** what a shambles wait for hotel to confirm they have cancelled before we can help which took an hour we will ring you back....... still waiting, did get an email offerinf us hotel miles away again from where we were, so that advise goes double for that booking agents AVOID AVOID AVOID it may look good after they finish refurbishment but crappy customer service will always be present both with hotel and *********** as still being advertised by booking as we struggled to find alter accomedation after 830pm on the same night which was pet friendly almost meant another 4 hour drive home but thank you holiday inn you have become our heros"

Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"Great hotel, stayed in a spiral room which was very comfortable. Some nice touches in room including great choice of tea/ coffee and some sweets to munch on. Spa really good and not so busy. We ate in the palm restaurant and had carvery which was amazing and reasonably priced. Free car parking although very busy on the Sunday due to wedding and Sunday roast guests. We will be back as staff were amazing and overall experience was superb."

"Bare basic hotel if all you need to do is sleep there. Beds are extremely comfortable. Noisey at times due to filling station nearby and very busy road. "

"The Lemon Tree was in a great location, easy to find and a short walk from town. Staff were all very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and shower was good. Breakfast was delicious, a little long to wait for it but it was cooked fresh so well worth it."

Rossett Hall Hotel ★★★★
"I THINK ROSSETT HALL HOTEL WOULD BE IDEAL FOR CONFERENCES, BUSINESS TRIPS AND SHOPPING TRIPS AS IT IS SITUATED VERY CONVENIENTLY BETWEEN WREXHAM AND CHESTER. THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND EVERYTHING IN THE ROOM WAS IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER AND THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WHEN WE FIRST ARRIVED, OUR ROOM WAS VERY COLD DESPITE THE HEATERS BEING ON, BUT WHEN WE MENTIONED THIS AT RECEPTION WE WERE GIVEN AN EXRTA HEATER AND WERE SOON WARM. BREAKFAST, AND OUR EVENING MEAL AT OSCAR'S BRASSERIE WITHIN THE HOTEL, WERE BOTH FINE. HOWEVER, IF THE VIEW MATTERS TO YOU, I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU CHECK THE VIEW FROM YOUR ROOM WHEN YOU BOOK. ALL WE COULD SEE FROM OUR ROOM - ROOM 10 - WAS A RED BRICK WALL AND IT WAS VERY DEPRESSING!! BECAUSE OF THE WALL, THE ROOM WAS QUITE DARK. THE ONLY OTHER NEGATIVE POINT WAS THAT, ONCE MADE, THE BOOKING COULDN'T BE MODIFIED AND NO REFUND WOULD BE GIVEN IF IT WAS CANCELLED. MANY HOTELS ALLOW YOU TO CANCEL UP TO 48 HOURS OF THE DATE YOU WERE MEANT TO ARRIVE WITHOUT BEING CHARGED AND THAT GIVES .YOU PEACE OF MIND!"

"Everything was wonderful as always except the car park. Rooms were spotless & quiet. Reception was great Restaurant fantastic Staff friendly & helpful. But....yes a but. I have stayed in a lot of Premier inns but this is the first time I had to pay to park as a guest. £7 ...just found it surprising & I felt a bit ripped off...shame as otherwise a great stay...I know it's mentioned on the website & I know things are getting more expensive & shareholders need their dividends."

Wrexham North (A483) ★★★
"The hotel is very close to the A483 so easy to find and convenient. Greeted warmly by all members of staff when coming across them, always pleasant and courteous. Rooms are good, bathrooms with some dinks and bangs along with some minor mould spots, a high-footfall establishment though so some wear and tear is expected. This is a popular hotel with people working away in manual trades, expect a little bit of noise at peak times. On the whole it was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The attached restaurant, The Beeches. Ah…. Breakfast is served here (I use the term ‘served’ loosely) and a lot of the time the service is that slow I had to leave due to time constraints. There seems to be a shortage of staff and chef at breakfast, the hotel are aware of it and are trying to action the restaurant into rectifying this, it isn’t working. The food served at dinner in the restaurant was obviously pre-portioned and microwaved before serving, average at best. Hotel 4.5 Restaurant 2, avoid the restaurant"
