In desperate need of updating. This place could be so much nicer with a bit of tlc. The corridors definitely need tidying up. Rooms are basic and again in need of some improvements however the beds were comfortable. We paid extra for breakfast but when we arrived for this at 9.10am we were told it had finished at 9am - we weren’t given times when we checked in and even though the manager said it was her fault she didn’t tell us the times, we weren’t able to have breakfast. We asked for a refund for the breakfast, whilst sorting this we then discovered that they’d actually charged us double! This is a very basic hotel, you get what you pay for (apparently not breakfast). It is in a great location, free parking if you stay overnight. Would I stay again? No.

Good stay as always the staff are helpful and rooms very clean. Maybe in need of a little TLC but staff and location more than make up for this. The bar area is good likewise the food can get a bit noisy late on but you are right in the city centre. Plenty of tea/coffee in the room though I miss the custard creams! Overall very good and a big part for coming back is the free parking 10/10 for that alone. Highly recommended.

Well worth a visit. Rooms are clean and functional. Large hotel with big bar and great location in town. Always worth a visit. Food available all day at reasonable prices. Drinks are reasonably priced too. The bar is huge and service was great.
