Regarding location - yes, there are no restaurants around and we took our car 5 minutes to reach various restaurants. But this is not disturbing - the location is not big and but is growing. For us was the location convenient -＞ arriving by car, go to Chaka Lake and continue the tour. The hotel team is very helpful - English is limited. We saw a very efficient and quick check in. The room itself was very clean - Family room. Next door to the reception hall is a small supermarket with all things you might need during a tour. The breakfast itself was without any western part - but very good Chinese food. We missed coffee and tea but we survived 🤗. The Salt Lake is a 10 minutes drive away (tourist main entrance). We would stay again here.

All the bedding in the room is very clean and tidy, very new, the quilt is thick and soft, and the bed is very comfortable. It is unexpected to be able to live in such a room here. Service: The breakfast service at the front desk is very timely and intimate. The breakfast is late. I will wait for us. It will warm the old man's heart.

The Chaka Evening Hotel is new and all facilities are in very good conditions. The hotel is located in a new commerce area in Chaka which has the clear ambition to develop more business. However, there is not much around this area and most fields are empty or under construction. Chaka Lake is a beautiful spot but the city is not so attractive. So also the hotel is not having any good spots around it. We also took the dinner in the hotel. The breakfast is okay but typical Chinese but they didn’t provided hot water for tea or a coffee. The staff is friendly and they provided extra heater and humidifiers for the cold nights. Overall, the hotel is a good choice if you stay in Chaka to recharge your batteries but it’s also good to move on after the stay.

If the itinerary allows, you can buy a ticket in the afternoon to take a photo of the sunset, and then take a photo of the sunrise the next morning, but the route of driving into the attraction will follow the tourists.
