Beautiful view, comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels, hot shower. Found some hair on the floor.

Unique homestay where the roof opens up to the sky. The stay is located at a quiet corner where u can see cows and horses passes by and butterflies flying around the grass in front of your bed. The stay also has cute cats and dogs where u can play with. Staff is friendly as well and assist you to book a taxi to whereever u want. 10mins cab ride to the entrance of salt lake.

This place is fantastic! It is a superb location if you are visiting Chaka Lake, very close to the Lake tourist centre. The cabins are well maintained and well equipped with projectors and screens, and they all have retractable roof sections so you can star gaze at night from your bed. The bar is superb! Wonderful views over the grasslands, and with a great selection of drinks. It is a family run place, and they are very friendly and speak English which was great. They were extremely helpful with many things. We wanted to extend our stay.

Absolutely loved having my own little cinema when the weather was cloudy (everyday) very clean and new. Didn't get to see the starry night sky unfortunately but had a lovely stay anyway.

The staff were incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. Really beautiful rooms and a great bar/community area. Highly recommended!

I stayed 1 night at the hotel. The owner was really nice and friendly and he also upgraded my room to the first row of cottages. The room has a big window from which is possible to see the starry sky at night. The room has also a projector to watch movies. Not a royal mansion, but ideal for whoever like adventure on the road and couples.

Wow! Wow! Wow! We had an AMAZING stay at this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights. The room is very clean and the bed is soo comfy. We enjoyed looking at the stars through the glass roof. The views are also incredible! The bar/communal area is a great place to relax in the evening and they served breakfast (included in the price) in the morning. The coffee is excellent! Alex, the owner was incredibly helpful, before and during our trip. He provided travel information and the grandfather took us to the bus station on the day we left. The only minor downside is it’s location. We struggled to get to Chaka lake as we didn’t have a car. There are no Didi’s and with our very poor mandarin, it was quite tricky. We ended up walking along the main road to the tourist information centre and getting the bus to the lake from there. It was fine for 2 adults, but I wouldn’t have done it with children. However, if you have a car and/or can speak mandarin, I’m sure this is easily avoidable! Overall, an excellent stay and would recommend to a friend.

Beatiful location with viel on salt lake. Very nice design and beautiful window to watch the stars at night.

What a surprise. The little Bugalows provide all you nedd and are techncal very well equipped. The big glass windows allow a nice star view in the night. Just the outside light at the bungalows are a bit too bright. The bar is also a nice suprise with cosy sofas and nice drinks.

Loved the sky light. To lay in bed and see the stars on a clear night was a very nice experience! Bed is comfortable. Staff as accommodating. Cabin gets hot when left for awhile.

The environment and sanitation are very good, the house is well decorated, you can see the stars at night, the boss is very nice and enthusiastic, if you forget a piece of clothing, the boss will send it to you. The boss's tavern atmosphere is full. If you come to Chaka, you must come to the Starry Sky B&B to experience it.

The hotel is great, clean, and well-equipped, with air conditioning, humidifier, and projector. It's very comfortable to watch a movie in bed at night. The large glass windows allow you to look up and see the snow-capped mountains, but it's foggy today and you can't see clearly. The owner planted a lot of flowers at the door, which must be very beautiful when the flowers bloom. The most important thing is that the service attitude is great!!!

A different accommodation experience. The children were especially surprised. They could look at the stars while lying on the bed. There was also projection to create a great atmosphere. The boss was also very nice!
