NH Potsdam

Das Hotel hat uns durch die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die Sauberkeit und die kleinen Annehmlichkeiten rund um unseren Aufenthalt und besonders durch das tolle Frühstück überzeugt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super zentral gelegenes Hotel! Tiefgarage, Sauna, ruhiges Zimmer zum grünen Hof. Der Nachtportier bekommt ein Extralob! Freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend! Frühstück war Durchschnitt, leider keine gute Brotauswahl, nur preiswerte Brötchen und Toast. Da hätte ich mir Vollkorn gewünscht! Personal insgesamt sehr freundlich! Gerne wieder!

Unglaublich schönes Hotel, sehr sauber, nettes Personal und super leckeres Frühstück mit einer extra Auswahl für Menschen mit Lebensmittelallergien. Die Lage ist perfekt, nicht weit von Sans Soucis und die Tiefgarage ist ein echter Bonus!

Das Hotel ist super geeignet für einen Kurzurlaub in Potsdam. Vieles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Direkt vor der Tür befindet sich eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig im Hotel.

The nh Hotel Potsdam looks a little out of date, but the overall package is perfect! We had a suite with a balcony and were able to use it in the evenings in high summer temperatures until the room temperature had cooled down enough to sleep well. The furnishings seem a bit "plush", but they match the building and are functional. The beds are good! The breakfast buffet was not outstanding, but we know the poor selection of cheese in favor of sausage from other hotels. What was irritating here was the assumption that the majority of guests wanted oat, almond or soy milk in their coffee. Cow's milk was consistently empty and was only refilled when asked. But we're complaining at a high level here. It was nice to be able to sit outside! The sauna and fitness area is clean and we enjoyed using the terrace here too. Overall, we felt very comfortable and the nh Potsdam will definitely be on our list for future stays.

Overall, a very nice hotel that we had stayed at before and would have liked to return. Unfortunately, on this visit, the fact that we needed a bathroom for people with reduced mobility (which we had received on our previous visit) was not taken into account. This was also explicitly stated when booking for this stay (several weeks previously). We were only told during check-in that evening that this room was no longer available. The following day, we had to cut our stay short and look for a new hotel because a hotel without a usable shower was out of the question in the sultry summer heat. The search for a new hotel took a lot of time and effort, and I was an hour late for a business meeting.

The hotel is located not far from the Dutch Quarter with good transport links from the main train station directly by tram. It has a lift, but unfortunately only the reception area has a good temperature. There is no functional air conditioning in the rooms and the suggested use of a fan is unworthy of a hotel like the NH. Opening the window was only possible late at night because the noise from the restaurant made this impossible. We were offered another room the next day where we could open the windows without disturbing noise. The rooms were clean, but had carpeted floors. The staff at the reception were friendly. You could also get free water and coffee and small snacks in the foyer.

A hotel that is showing its age (it used to be a very nice hotel). Very nice reception, very shabby room and bathroom... the temperature in the room was too high to sleep well. The outdoor areas generally seem a bit unkempt (cigarette butts, rubbish...)

absolut in allen Bereichen weiter zu empfehlen; bestens geeignet für Kurzurlaube; von großem Vorteil die Tatsache, dass das Auto in der Tiefgarage abzustellen ist; sollte die Garage besetzt sein, so kann das Auto in einem Parkhaus abgestellt werden(fußläufig ca. 4 Min entfernt)
