Stayed for two days, the most satisfying thing is the two young ladies when they stayed.

I drove from Jiangsu to Guangdong alone and visited Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area. I heard that there were a lot of people in Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area in spring, so I stayed in the youth hostel and learned more about the number of tourists in Wuyi Mountain from other tourists. In the end, I gave up this trip to Wuyi Mountain. It was my first time staying in a youth hostel. I personally felt that I had a good sleep, and I was not afraid of being disturbed by other roommates. I didn't care about the simple facilities. It was a good place to stay. A little joke, I had never stayed there before, and I forgot to bring a bath towel. I didn't find it until I finished taking a bath, so I had to use my underwear to dry my body first.

As soon as I walked into this hotel, I was deeply attracted by the simple yet elegant Chinese style. In the room, the fragrance of tea is curling, and outside the window is the rolling tea mountain, making people feel as if they are living in a landscape painting.
Every morning, when the first ray of sunlight shines through the curtains on the bed, I will get up lazily, make a pot of good tea, and sit by the window to enjoy the tranquility and beauty. SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

GGuest UserThis is the perfect hotel for a trip to Wuyishan. The hostess helped me with everything so that I could have a great time in the town. The rest of the hotel staff does not speak English, but they always tried to help me. They helped me with the route around the reserve, with tickets for the show and other things. It was very valuable. Location: It takes 30 minutes by taxi from Wuyishan North Station. There are also buses. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the impression da hong pao show. The bus stop is also nearby (also about a 5-minute walk). There are 3 stops to the reserve, less than 10 minutes by bus. Room: very spacious and clean, everything is as in the photos. The renovation and furniture look new. There is a hairdryer, slippers and personal hygiene products and even more: various little things and snacks. There is no refrigerator. Hotel: there are tea shops and Chinese restaurants nearby. But there is no need to walk in them, since everything is in the hotel. The breakfasts were Chinese, but you can always find something to eat. Lunch and dinner are also available. I've tried pork and fish. Everything was delicious. The hostess owns a tea factory. Therefore, tea can be bought here.

The Dahongpao ice cream and Guangbing in Wuyishan Scenic Area tasted pretty good, but I didn't eat the filial piety biscuits (I couldn't eat any more).
To sum up: the housekeepers and canteen ladies here are really nice and kind! The environment, service and facilities here are among the best in the many hotels and B&Bs I have stayed in. The air is fresh, the scenery is pleasant, and there is a cute and obedient ragdoll cat Zhaocai (remember it is Zhaocai, not Wangcai!) I want to steal the cat away every day.
I will come again next time!!! ! ...

For independent traveller, the lodging is merely a 10mins walk to the magnificent ＜Impression＞ night show (which is a must), 5mins walk to the public bus stop which is only 2 stops away from the Wuyishan National Park South entrance and tram station, 3mins walk to the riverbank which the view is absolutely magnificent and not to miss.
The property is sparkling new. Tastefully decorated with well adequate amenities.
Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Owners were extremely friendly and offered free tea tasting. A definite recommendation for local and international travellers.

The balcony looks out to the back garden of the homestay, a Chongxi Mandao where you can ride a bike, which is very suitable for taking your dog for a stroll!
Facilities: All items in the room are free to use, including tea bags, handmade biscuits, Wuyishan spring water, cola sparkling water, welcome fruits, coffee. I drove all the time and didn't eat at noon. I was full after eating and drinking in the room. Hahaha.
Hygiene: Even people with mysophobia think it is very clean. There is no dust on the tatami, and you can lie down freely. The same is true for bath towels and towels, and the bed quilts.
Environment: There is an underground parking lot for self-driving parking. There are many places to eat nearby, and you can also order takeout. There is a place to walk the dog outside the homestay, and the scenery is also good.
Service: The ladies are all very good. I just hope that if the dog cannot enter the restaurant in the future, I can inform you in advance, and there will be a solution, such as eating breakfast outdoors or delivering breakfast to the room. When we went downstairs for breakfast, we were told that ”pets are not allowed into the restaurant and we cannot sit outdoors.” It was very embarrassing at the time, but luckily there was a place around a fireplace outside the back of the restaurant, so we cooked and ate there.

Iivan khongFantastic hotel. Near to airport. Located a 7yuan taxi ride away frim the town centre but well worth it if you are looking for a nice, secluded, away from city feel. Very nice. A river flows in front and rear of the hotel, nice and quiet. A quaint village is located which you can take a stroll in if you wanna see village life. Very nice picturesque area with an old bridge, great for sunrise pics.
Food is good. Staff very friendly. Willing to recommend restaurants to eat in. Also recommended to take the bamboo raft ride down the 9 bend stream at wuyi shan nature park. Also recommended the Impressions Dahongbao live show, not to be missed.
Hotel General Manager, Angie, helped us a lot. As we barely speak Mandarin, she speaks English and helped us make bookings, and speak to the locals via phone when we encountered problems communicating. She recommended places that we would not have thought of and even suggested hotels in Xiamen for our next stop in our itinerary, and we chose the Holiday Inn next to the airport. Also suggested.places in other provinces we should go in our next trip to China.

MMaja VA great place! The owner is very kind and helpful, the room is clean and has a nice terrace to enjoy, when the weather is not too hot. The food is also amazing. When we arrived we first ate lunch and had this bamboo broth that was delicious. Also the way the welcome children is very heartwarming. They had a lot of toys they shared with our two boys and it was great when we came back in the evening and we wanted to relax a bit, the boys could play there. One evening the owner daughters had a birthday and they even shared the cake with them. Really so toughtful and nice!
We chose this hotel also for it's location. Because we arrived in the afternoon, we still wanted to check some attractions and it was really perfect that the hotel is within and walking distance to bamboo rafting. When we were there the last ride was scheduled for 15:40, so we managed to have lunch and still came on time for the raft ride.
Definitely a very good place to stay if you are in Wuyishan area.

The most important thing is the pick-up service, which saved us a lot of trouble. It was very considerate and warm. The driver also waited for us at the high-speed rail station early. GGuest UserWe stayed overnight when passing by Wuyi Mountain. The hotel is located in a central area. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to a local street with unique characteristics. The Wuyi smoked goose there is really delicious. I think the biggest advantage of the hotel is that parking is very convenient. The internal area of the hotel is quite large and is divided into several buildings. The room I booked this time is on the first floor. After completing the formalities in the lobby, I have to go down one flight of stairs. It may be because of the heavy humidity in the mountainous area that there are mold spots in the room. Overall, it meets expectations.
