It was clean, it had a comfy bed, it was cheap and it was in a good location. It had a washing machine (I didn’t use this) and my room had a drying rack outside the window.
The owner was friendly and helped me find the right building. The place isn’t very easy to find. You have to go into the main big building, up to floor 6 and then walk forward until you see 614. It’s on the left and it’s written in pencil on the wall so it’s easy to miss.
Just be aware, you are basically living in a room inside someone’s apar**ent. There are several rooms that are filled with bunk beds. There is only one toilet/ shower, but it’s kept really clean. They also smoke inside in the evening. There were no lockers and no locks on the door (this seems to be pretty common in hostels in China)
As a budget solo traveller, I’d stay there again.

There are many people living here, so there is a lot of garbage and the smell is quite strong. Many bathroom faucets are broken, people use them carelessly, sanitary napkins are left everywhere, and there is little cleaning and the cleaning is not timely.

Very low quality, the bed had a 1cm mattress. You ended up sore while sleeping, the shower was scary.
