Ibis Styles Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower Huimin Street)

Location is superb good, just 5 mins walks to subway station and is located between 鼓楼and钟楼. Is in the centre area, hence just 10-15 mins walk to those attractions areas. The room is very spacious and clean, bed very comfortable

Good location with walking access to the Drum Tower and Huiming street. Room is clean but does not have a safe or fridge. Reception staff cannot speak other languages beside Chinese so asking for assistance can be challenging.

Room given had a window facing a small fake garden with little light so room was very dark. Room had no safe and fridge. Xi’an was very hot and we could not have any cold drinks due to no fridge. Definitely a consideration in the future. Bathroom shower top head was not working and bathroom not very safe post shower, despite a small bath mat given, hazardous to slippery floor. Had a lot of mosquitoes bite in this room, despite given a plug. Would like the hotel to consider fumigating as we got bitten pretty badly. Hotel breakfast was awful and cold. Paid for continental but there was hardly any continental as described, could not get a refund and ended up foregoing the meal and eating out. Breakfast Chinese food tasted stale and cold as well. Definitely would recommend not eating the breakfast there.
