I originally booked a light luxury room, but the room was assigned to someone else. They just randomly assigned me a room to stay in. If I hadn't complained about it, they would have just brushed it off. Fortunately, the front desk was ok. I was moved to an air-conditioned room that was like a sauna after two hours of use. Finally, I was moved to another room. My good mood was ruined.

First of all, the location of the hotel is very good, next to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, there is a braised pork noodle restaurant nearby that tastes good. It was already 11 o'clock when we arrived on the day. The hotel has no main entrance. What catches your eye are two shabby staircases, like a vampire's lair. Going out the door on the 6th floor is the Wanghai Huakai Hotel. It's called a hotel, but in fact it's just countless string rooms. The front desk looks like a little girl who has just entered society. I went in after getting the door card. I was shocked when I opened the room. The very small window had no screen, and the shower head in the bathroom was covered with a lot of scale. We were afraid that someone would pour unknown liquid into it, so we took off the shower head. The water temperature was no hot water at 6 o'clock (the feeling on the second day), and it took about 20 minutes for the water to start to heat up. The lights in the room were sometimes on and sometimes off, but we went to bed right away, so we didn't react to this situation. There was almost no sound insulation. The xx sounds from the next door, the shower sounds, the quarrels of the couple opposite, and the frequent dripping sounds in the middle of the corridor were like high heels stepping on my ears. To be honest, I don't know where the good reviews for this hotel (or guesthouse) came from. Apart from its location, I really can't think of any words to praise it. However, Xiamen is indeed very beautiful, and the prices are really expensive. It is very beautiful, and I will never come here again next time.
